It's Feinstein. The other guy (Zach Osterman) said on Twitter last night that he's switching his #1 vote to Kentucky.

Feinstein has to give credit where credit is due. After a tremendous road win for UVa where they had to battle back against a super strong V Tech (8-11 and 0-6 in conference) team who will not even come close to sniffing the tourney.

IU gets curb stomped by unranked opponent, moves up 1 spot. Sounds legit.

Edit: Sorry Bellcat

What is really bad is that if we would get upset at Florida, we would be 22-1 and we would fall to about 5th, behind teams with two losses. They are simply hating. BTW: Forget the Florida thing. It's not going to happen.

Kentucky picked up that last holdout in the coaches poll so out 65 AP writers and 32 coaches, only 1 has decided Kentucky isn't worthy of the #1 pick, Mr. John Feinstein. Check the link for an entertaining read (courtesy of Jon Scott's bigbluehistory.net) on Feinstein's "history" with Kentucky.

That top six is very solid. Beyond that it gets a little muddy. No way I would have Texas and Oklahoma in my top 25. I'd replace them with CSU and Arkansas. Course I'm a bit bias towards both.

This is the proof that the Feinstein apologists need to once and for all prove that he's a UK hater. The man will never, ever vote UK #1. We could beat UVa and dook by a combined 50 points and he'd still find a way to justify giving one of them a #1 vote over UK right now. The man is a sad excuse for an "unbiased" journalist and needs to have his credintials stripped.

Arkansas did nothing to show me they should be ranked. They lost to UT (who is not very good) and Ole Miss at home by 14, and then won two games barely this past week, including almost losing to pathetic Missouri.

Fein-in-stein is a UNC liar. He is the lowest form of animal known to man. What an S.O.B.

The SEC is kind of weak, but Arkansas belongs more than a 6 loss Butler or 5 loss GTown.

And IU gets love because they win at home but not on the road? Geez

As for the front half, 2-12, you'd have to take seriously Duke, Arizona, Wisconsin, and maybe Virginia, though I really don't think they have the size to hang with Kentucky.

Of everyone else, Gonzaga, Villanova, Kansas might win against the Cats with an A-plus game while Kentucky sputters with a C-plus game.
I would actually say that we sputtered with a C plus game against Kansas

^ Disagree totally. Kansas was one of the three or four best games Kentucky has played all year. Totally took that team out of the game in the second half.

Kansas, UCLA, Alabama, North Carolina, Providence--the five best games I've seen Kentucky play.

Then there've been a bunch of just routine drubbings that look pretty much the same, with TAMU, Vandy, and Columbia at the bottom.*

* I actually think we played fairly well against Ole Miss but they were just unconscious.

If you're still looking for proof that Feinstein is a UK hater, you need to pay better attention.

John Feinstein: Top UK Detractor by far

This has been going on for literally decades. The page above is supposed to be ancient history, but somehow Feinstein keeps making it relevant.

Also, I'm not sure which Feinstein apologists you refer to. Frankly I can't even find a Duke fan who is willing to vouch for him after all he's said above.

I had no idea this guy was still around until I was scanning the radio the other day and came across his show. I think I may have been one of two people listening nationally.

I take exception with your last sentence. I think it should read "That thing is a sad excuse for an " unbiased" journalist and needs to have its credentials stripped". Go Cats!!

Kentucky has proven that they can win when they play their C game. Thats the only hope any team has if they play them. When Kentucky plays their A game, then nobody will even come close. Just ask Kansas and Ucla.
Virginia is about to begin losing so that Kentucky hater will have no choice but to vote for them.

Feinstein always has been and always will be a Kentucky hater. That's absolutely no surprise to anyone that has paid attention the past three decades or so. He's a prick.
