Refreshing to see guys go after shots rather than try to avoid fouling. Please bring us some shot blockers KP.
KP is going to turn Curry into a beast. I mean he already was, but his defense needed a little help. We haven't had anyone down low that could protect the paint and just scare people since Montrezl graduated. Curry was born to be that guy.
I think we need one of the young guys or a new 7 footer(?) to give him some help and become what this program has always been-feared shot blockers.
Oh I miss the days of having an elite shot blocker/rim protector like Dieng. Even if he didn't get the block, he would alter so many shots it would begin to intimidate other teams at times. I remember the "block party" threads where we would count how many blocks he would have in a game.
If you're driving the lane, and Syd Curry is waiting for you, that is probably going to get in your head a little bit. Let's hope KP is the Big Man Whisperer everyone keeps saying.
OMG. Clark is a senior but still has a year of eligibility. Hasn’t made a decision yet but could still return to Virginia. I think I was a teenager his freshman year at UVa….
