This is Iowa’s ceiling with Jan. She is a great assistant coach. Not a great head coach. That’s ok. I think she is a great person and assistant/positional coach.

Why would Hays leave? Jan has already given her more minutes than anyone else probably would have and she'll be backing up an All American next year.
If Jensen does not spend concentrated time off-season time in BenM's office learning she does not deserve to be head coach IMO.
Well, she tricked the Athletic Director into a job offer so that Addie Deal didn't decommit.
None of them were that good to begin with.
If Jan doesn't get a reliable 3 pt shooter next year, she's gonna be gone soon after.
She can't just rely on feeding the post and settling for shaky 3s for your offense.

Last three games were worse than three game losing streak.
The whole teams bb IQ is very low
The funny thing is that Iowa screwed up about 100 different things this game, and all of them were needed to lose. Just an epic farce.
This season was like Dexter - Well-regarded but actually not that great, and ending with a ridiculous series of games that poison anything good that happened before.
Good riddance to this season, on to the next one.

Doesn’t make up for the fact she completely choked in the 2nd OT.
Heiden played well, but had a bad moment when she got the ball end of 1st OT & didn’t put back up right away.
They're not going to fire a coach that has been in the building for several decades 1 year after a top 10 finish.

Again, there's an elite 6 foot, 3 point shooter down the road not offered. On paper outside shooting is going to be the weakness again, unless Jan finds one in the portal. I can't remember a worse outside shooting Iowa women's team. It's been awhile.

Maybe a master motivator could have gotten the team confident again but I have a hard time calling this mostly a problem of poor coaching.
