They can’t play better. Wagner and Z are incapable. Adou averages only 16ppg because Wagner, Davis, (Fland) don’t pass the ball. And we can leave him wide open behind the arc.

Of course they can play better. Any team or player is capable of pulling a crazy performance out of their ***. 9-11 Kansas St. just went into Iowa St. and won by 19. If they can do it Arkansas is certainly capable of doing the same.

I think you’re underestimating how much adrenaline and wanting to prove people wrong can motivate a player in the moment.
I’m not predicting Arkansas wins or these guys have career games, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it happened. I think this game will mean more to Thiero, Z, and Wagner than it will to any of our guys.
Go look at Cal's last 5 years. Even when UK was underperforming, Cal would randomly win a top 15 road game they had no business winning, which could easily happen tonight.

I think the boo’ing will be a motivating factor for the first 5-10 minutes. Arkansas could come out hot. I don’t think it lasts the whole game.

I really don't like giving players extra motivation. It can bring a team together for one night. Oh well, it's happened. That means Cal will be super boo'ed.
Not necessarily. I believe the players deserve booing more than CCC. They came, not to play for UK, but to take advantage of our resources and name brand. As soon as their coach fled, they hit the road too. Sometimes you get what you deserve. They should be embarrassed, not motivated.
I think motivation and bulletin board material is overrated at times .

Arkansas with all the athletic ability in the world much more than our CATS. They don’t have good basketball players or an in game COACH.
