Seems like the dopes in Lexington are pointing to '17 as the year things take off.....10 win seasons etc. Are they writing off '16 or are they playing rope a dope with the cf world? I did read where Alabama is their litmus test game next yr.

Unfortunately I was watching a Lexington CBS Channel and that damn commercial came on during the SB. I thought it was in reference to Zipp.

Honestly and truthfully, who really gives a crap about this? I sure don't. UK Football CAN"T finish (bowl game, winning season) and until they do (whenever that'll be) they are irrelevant in my eyes.

Not saying we'll be any better but who knows. The Cats schedule does not shape up well with a so so defensive line and unproven QB. I'm hoping the Oline matures and the backs finally live up to expectations. I honestly can see us being better but not making a bowl game. I hope I'm wrong about the bowl game but we'll see.

They have to do something to energize their fan base after last season's train wreck of a season. Think about that 8 homes games.... No Alabama or LSU on the schedule. A down South Carolina and Missouri and they can't qualify for a bowl game. Does anyone that knows football see 6 wins for bowl eligibility here for UK next season? I see possibly two. New Mexico State and Austin Peay.

Sept. 3 SOUTHERN MISS - Returns 9 starters on offense and 6 on defense. The Eagles are no cupcake. Whom ever scheduled this game at UK goofed.

Sept. 10 at Florida - Haven't won against the Gators since 1983. The streak don't end next season.

Sept. 17 NEW MEXICO STATE - Cats should win this one

Sept. 24 SOUTH CAROLINA - Gamecocks are not going to lose three straight to Kentucky

Oct. 1 at Alabama - UK should just forfeit save everyone the headache.

Oct. 8 VANDERBILT - 'Dores are never a easy win for UK

Oct. 22 MISSISSIPPI STATE - A UK win not likely here

Oct. 29 At Missouri - Tigers will stop UK in Columbia

Nov. 5 GEORGIA - See Alabama

Nov. 12 at Tennessee - Could be the best in the SEC East

Nov. 19 AUSTIN PEAY - Likely UK win

Nov. 26 at Louisville - Cards will get #6.

So looking forward to 2017 makes sense.....

Well it may be harder to see from where you are but the improvement is there. Last season was a disappointment but not a train wreck.
Couple of games were there for the taking but they couldn't do.

I smell fear..or is that just the op messing his pants after Kash and the Legendarys took over.
The staff is complete. General Stoops has his warriors in blue assembled. The traitors to BBN have been banished.
Everyone knows that this is really gonna be the year.
Really

Most reasonable UK fans (at this point) are not looking at beyond 5 wins.
But hope is always there and as the season gets closer; and we are fed the typical preseason hype...we will be silly and think we will turn it around "this year".
For us it is a very broken record.
But you can pick out the unreasonable and have fun... If that makes you feel better

Unfortunately, it is a very common message board tactic to paint a broad brush of a fan base, based on selected words or actions of a few. Happens on every board, and sadly this one (and yours) is no different.

Kentucky could be better next year, but the reality is that they finished last season ranked behind nine of next year's opponents, and even with one (Vandy). They have two cupcake games and ten very competitive games. They lost two of their three quarterbacks, and the one returning has little experience, and less success. If Barker doesn't improve significantly, or if he gets hurt, UK could easily have a total collapse. If so, the calls for Stoops head will be deafening.

Such a UK apologist

The seduction of UK football is strong. We take any coach from ul we want, it is only common sense that ul fans are joining BBN in droves.
The fresh new face of UK football is more attractive every day as Stoops brings in much more intelligent, well spoken representatives of UK than the dark days of Joker and his thuggish back stabbing inner city no talent players. A new high powered offense led by the nation's top OC joining forces with the defensive genius in Coach Stoops will produce a team beyond everyone's wildest dreams.
This trend will accelerate as Kash and the Legendarys become more well known as they fulfill Kash's prophecy and win the SEC and become the first school in the state to make the playoffs. So don't be upset, because everyone loves a winner...and this off season has proven, without a doubt, that UK is far far ahead of ul in football.

Will Mizzou be a train wreck this year. New coach but maybe same old problems. Still a problem for Cats.

I think UK's O was only directly responsible for about 20 points against us in 2 years. With an improved QB and OLine, I think we won't be giving away the ball this year.

Of course it's a Rivalry Game, except to them;), and "lightening could strike." Oh Yeah, We Won that one too!

Kash has only been on campus a few weeks and has completely took over all off season workouts. There have been multiple reports that he has reprimanded and punished several upper class man for not giving 110% every second. He has single handedly changed the culture. He does not allow rap and hip hop music to be played in the facilities.
He wakes at 330 am and runs 10 miles and splits firewood 2 hours before he goes to the gym to lift another 3 hours, 6 days a week.
Kash ain't playing. If ul fans want to call him a liar for boldly promising BBN an SEC championship and 30 for 30 documentaries about The Legendarys, you do so at the risk of future embarrassment. Because I'm taking down names.

Homerblue is my favorite poster, but I have to blow his cover because he's really making our fans look ignorant. Terms such as farce, satire, and spoof are apparently unfamiliar to our many literal-minded fans.

Homer has gone and wormed his way into our affections simply owing to the passionate delivery of his message.

No one bleeds bluer than the Homer Man - he is the pure essence of what UK fans aspire to. I just thank the benevolent God or gods - whichever applies - that we have given Homer a safe place to let 'er rip.

Senore do you mean stupidity, ignorance and a general lack of intelligence? Or is this fool really a tool in sheep clothing? But in any case anyone that would go to that extent to act like a fool is pretty much . . . well a fool. :p

I was a good friend of Jaochim Foikis, Vancouver's official Town Fool in the early 70's. Without fools, I have found life to be pretty mundane. With fools - lots better. :)

I think it's more of a dope on a rope than a rope a dope situation. They're all hanging on hope that a triple negative equals a positive.

HOLY COW! Either this guy is a frickin genius UofL fan trolling the blue people or he just got out of the last blue family brainwashing session and is going on tour as the uk fan spokesperson. I've read some outlandish posts about uk football before but this guy is pushing Grover Sales for the top spot.o_O
