Wake Forest is not the same

at least at this point in the season. The running game is average. The QB is very weak. They can't use their receivers. I say Heritage beats them.

Their special teams are very good, they are well coached and their defense is still strong but they weren't hitting like past years.

Middle Creek had every chance in the world tonight and blew it with mistakes and penalties and 11 dropped passes. WF didn't score an offensive TD until there were 40 seconds left in the game.

Even when the play bad, WF wins but this isn't a championship caliber team from my view.

People don't realize how long it took WF to finally punch the ticket and win the State Championship game. Their 1st appearance this decade was 44-0 spanking against Butler back in 2010. They have a lot of experience in State Championship games. It's not just another game. Eventually you figure it out. They did. They are top dogs until someone dethrones them.

The good: Middle Creek was better than I thought with their defensive front 7. They hit and fly to the ball. They couldn't move the ball on the ground, but both RBs ran hard. The QB looked much more poised than the first two games (it is after all only his third start).

The bad: the receivers dropped too many first down balls. Unfortunately, #10 blew out his knee after missing last year with the other knee. Sad. Punt team is a disaster. Kick return team is slow. Need the athletes back on the field. Will likely lead the league in penalties, as they have every year under Randy. Undisciplined bunch. One of Randy's worst called games in a while.

I agree in your opinion is it better than UNCC? If im not mistaken Mallard Creek had a game there right?

I'm not exactly sure where they're gonna play nepsy. All I know for now is "at" Butler. Richmond can win if they play 4 quarters... they are still full of surprises, other words, they still haven't played their highest potential.I wouldn't be surprised if Richmond wins...that's what they're going up there for... MC played there last week. I like it better than UNCC. Butler should play all of their big games there.

I think Middle Creek will be very good by the end of the year. Their defense is stout. Their offense will continue to improve.
