Well what where everyone's thoughts on the episode? That new dude looks legit and I really hope he isn't against the group or they are in trouble. I thought other then the new guy and the hook up at the end it was a rather slow episode which is to be expected after last week.

I think Michonne's goose is cooked now though. She will either be killed soon or will leave the group because of what happened. Everyone who gets involved with Rick romantically seems to die soon.

My first thought was, upon seeing the dude: Hey Rick, Darryl don't be so damned stooopid...make him pull up the stocking cap to make sure there's not a big "W" stamped on his forehead. (He had it just low enough, it could have been covering up the Wolves mark.)

I figure Jesus the Ninja is a bad guy. It seems likely that he is a member of Negon's group...or maybe Negon himself. The reason I think this is that we know they can't stay in Alexandria forever, and that means it is likely that Negon finds out where they are and decides he wants Alexandria. Now that they took Jesus back with them, he will be the one who leads Negon's group to Alexandria.

Pure speculation on my part.

Big spoiler on this topic. Seriously, don't read it if you want to stay away from spoilers...

I just looked up Paul "Jesus" Monroe. Apparently, he is one of the leaders of a 3rd group that has already had some friction with Negan. Sounds like his group and Rick's group team up to fight against Negan's group.

Yep.

i think Michonne is fine. They follow the comic books pretty generally for the most part. Michonne plays a big part in the "All Out War" between Negan, Alexandria, "The Farm"(Jesus's community) and "The Kingdom" (another community). All these communities band together to fight Negan and The Survivors" who basically run an old school mafia style "protection racquet.

The main thing that bums me out about "Richonne" is that it makes it more likely that we won't the Kingdom in the All Out War storyline. That means we probably won't get to see Shiva....a zombie fighting tiger from the DC zoo the ruler of the Kingdom kept. In the comic books, Michonne falls for the leader of the Kingdom. Rick is with "Andrea" who isn't dead in the comic books.

The All Out War storyline that is coming up does spell bad news for two characters in all likelihood.
Glenn and Anraham are both killed by Negan or his men in the comic books during the war.

Also with D going out with Rick does that spell his doom with Negan and his bat?

No chance they kill Michonn. She's an all time top 100 comic book character.

I wondered how they were going to handle Rick's future love interest since they killed off Andrea on TV. I always assumed it was going to be the blonde chick that got killed off in the last episode.
