I still say Abraham needs to be the next one on a Polaroid picture for that wall. I would say Morgan but I think they might have something going on with him soon. I am curious what he was welding when they last showed him? Maybe the crazy Morgan will get released and he is used against the Saviors. To make it more interesting, maybe crazy Morgan snaps in Alexandria and starts to clear and Carol is forced to deal with him.
The Walking Dead writers confirmed he was building a prison.

I think the group should off Morgan, he is a threat to them imo. It's amazing how they have weakened Abraham, since the break, maybe all of this season. He was pretty bad *** last season and just since the mid season break he's given up his weapons to the biker gang, got his butt whooped at hill top and then gets cut by one of the saviors. That's after he dumps one of the hottest chicks on the show. He must be the one that's going to get killed. If he gets any weaker he's going to die anyway.

Abraham = Tyrese

Once Tyrese became a freaking wimp, I was ready for him to go. I think Abraham has become retarded to go along with becoming a wimp. Batter up.

Warning possible spoiler:Just read where Corey Hawkins (Heath-the black dude with glasses and dreads) got picked up for a major role on another series. He and Tara are suppose to go on a supply run. Tara as you know from watching the Talking Dead, just had a baby. Maybe they kill them off? Or, they could just take them out of the script for awhile to film other shows and spend time with a baby.

From what Ive been reading on some of the blogger sites from folks who take this **** wayyyyy too serious, their might be more than one major character killed off. Norman Reedus (Daryls) contract expires soon, so theres that to consider.
Just guessing though. Useless chatter really.

They need to kill people, there's too many of them and parts of the story get stale because it takes to long to get back to whichever particular character.

Taking people off screen for a while wouldn't be surprising. Why?

There is another community set to be introduced within the near future, The Kingdom. The Kingdom was introduced in the comic books right about at the point we are in now, so I imagine it will pop up prior to the end of season 6 or in the very early stages of season 7. Between 3 communities with a lot of people and then the Saviors, there is going to be way too many characters to keep up with on a TV show.

Lol, I love how for dramatic effect they always chamber a round into whatever gun they have. As if they wouldn't have a round chambered at all times.

Carol on talking dead looking hot!

Oh the irony of Carol turning into Morgan. I say load them both up and send them down the road. She almost cost Maggie her life and I swear her and the red head acted like they had thing for each other both in show and on talking dead.

Slow episode but finished with a bang. Hopefully Carol doesn't turn into a Morgan/Tyrese type of character. Maggie appears to be ready to stay in town and do the leadership thing. The close call with the knife cutting her shirt near her stomach finally made her realize she can't keep going out looking for trouble.

So what's up with all the Saviors claiming to be Negan? I don't think they are trying to hide him. Are they just so corrupted by Negan (like some kind of cult) that they feel like he is a part of them all? I think there are only 3 more episodes so we will find out soon. They should only show him in like the last few minutes of the final episode as he introduces his bat to whomever gets it.

I still hope it is Abraham just so they surprise people that read the comics. If Glenn does get it, they should have Negan and a bunch of his Saviors standing outside the gates of Alexandria holding Glenn prisoner with Maggie up on the wall watching as he gets his Polaroid moment. Then the season ends with Maggie screaming and no one knowing what will happen next. I guess they could do the same thing to Abraham with Rosalita watching, but I don't think it would get the same shock value.

Yeah, I think it's a cult thing. They must consider Negan a god or something.

Honestly, I kind of wish they wouldn't have announced the actor who will play Negan. Because they did, we all know the whole "we are all Negan" thing is nonsense.

Yeah it would have been interesting for us if the group never knows who the leader is. Someone says they are Negan and they kill them and the next person then says they are Negan. Repeat over and over with the group not ever knowing if it is done and then finally at the gates of Alexandria they find out who the real Negan is. We find out who this surprise person is only at that point and not waiting for an expected actor to show up.

If you have ever watched Star Trek The Next Generation, the Saviors remind me of the Borg. They have a queen and the Borg are basically all connected to each other and her and they always say we are the Borg like the Saviors are saying we are Negan. You don't learn about the queen until later down the road just like with Negan. I wouldn't be surprised if they took the premise of the Saviors from that and modified it for a show about a zombie apocalypse instead of a futuristic sci-fi show.

As many have speculated: The Walking Dead May Change A Huge Comics Moment, According To Steven Yeun

I know people are going to always go, ‘Negan kills Glenn in the comics,’ but rest assured that we don’t necessarily do what’s in the comics. There’s a clear divide in the way we tell a story on television, and the way that story is told in the comics, because it has to be. And everybody will have to see what happens, but we definitely tell our story in the way that television should be told.
He might as well have just said Glenn doesn't die

So watching theTalking Dead and it is clear that they are not following the comics entirely. They are writing scripts to be different from the comics to keep an element of surprise.

Pretty decent episode. They kept foreshadowing the death.

Not sure what's up with Carol. The writing seems forced. Last season she was sneaking into terminus and killing 20 people, now she's spooked? I can deal with zombies sitting in a car for years, or other stupid stuff, just seems out of character.

The hush hush on the walls was truly horrific. First "horror" scene in awhile. Was scary.

I wonder if Neagan is next week

That is well known. They have to or it would be mostly pointless for the comic book readers to watch the TV show.

Denise got the Abraham comic book death.

So what is up with the prison Morgan built? If they catch another person like the Wolf or Jesus, to keep them from escaping? To lock himself back up to keep from snapping again? To lock someone else up to keep them from snapping like he did?

They are building up so much drama between Abraham and Rosita that I will be disappointed if Abraham isn't the one to get it in the season finale. I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if Eugene gets it, but with him hurt it isn't likely. He is becoming even more annoying lately. At least he bit one for the team.

I don't know what is going on with Carol anymore. I don't know if she is afraid of becoming like that Savior chick so that is why she is leaving. Also, is Darryl going out to look for her or going after the people that got away? He keeps talking about how he should have killed the two. Going to try and get revenge for Denise? With Carol and Daryl both leaving, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them dies.

Because Jason is silly about people reading the Walking Dead comics and makes fun of them for some reason. I don't read them myself but don't see the big deal about people talking about it.
Ok, thanks. I hadn't read the comics until yesterday. Found them online for free. Kinda disappointing.

because I get bored and it's low hanging fruit and at this point it's just habit any time I see someone post "...IN THE COMICS...", which is actually about every 3rd post.

I'd start giving away likes if someone could think of another phrase other than "in the comics" to demonstrate something from the actual comics. Maybe it's just the phrase...
How would you say what they said on the talking dead about trying to be different from the comics without saying "in the comics". Again, I haven't read them, just going by what people say in this thread.

I thought it was another good episode and this season has been outstanding overall. Thus far the group has been great at taking out a lot of Negan's militia with nearly no casualties. They've killed about 25 or so? It's amazing how many different camps and people he must have if what we think happens actually happens. Looks like we'll get our first look at him in the last episode this season. Not sure what's going to happen with Carol or Morgan.

If you could bring 2 characters back to join them in Alexandria, who would you bring?

I'd bring Tyreese and Beth

How many people are actually left in Alexandra? Are there enough to defend it? Negan must have a pretty good sized army if he can lose 25-30 and still be a major force.

And from the preview, it looked like Rick was getting ready to go search for Carol. Another great plan by Rick. LOL

It looks like they at least are organized in their defenses, both in terms of people (training and watch-outs) and facilities. They definitely need more people though.

I watch every week but in terms of good seasons, season 1 and 2 were excellent, the season with the governor was good as well. After that, it's went downhill....

I have a hard time seeing him as a violent maniac type. The only things I have seen him in were a few early season episodes of Grey's Anatomy (where he was a dying patient that one of the doctors fell in love with) and an action movie called The Losers (where he was a special forces type that was framed for something and was trying to clear his name). He was always a nicer character type so it will be hard to see him as a worse governor type.

Season Finale rumors.

This is when Walking Dead viewers will get their first glance at Negan. The character will make his first appearance and give a big speech about how his group and Rick’s group need to work together and that he will be killing one of them and taking half of everything they have. If Rick tries to stop him, he says he’ll take Carl’s other eye and feed it to him!

This is where the Walking Dead Season 6 finale will get really tense and interesting! Negan will go through the group one by one trying to decide who to kill. When he gets to Maggie, he’ll see that she’s in pain, and Glenn will quickly interject. Negan allegedly tells Glenn that he thought about killing Maggie to end her pain, but then keeps looking through the gang.

When he finally decides who to kill, fans will see the entire thing through the victim’s eyes. Viewers won’t know which one of the group has been chosen to die at the hands of Negan and his weapon of choice, a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, which he calls Lucille. When Negan starts to bash the victim’s head their vision/the camera becomes blurry. Everyone around them will start screaming as Negan continues to hit the victim, and we’ll see through their point of view that they fall to the ground and after one more final hit there is a sudden fade to black and the episode is over! So, who is the victim? We won’t know. It will be one of the biggest cliffhangers ever on TV, and fans will have no idea how to process it. Seriously, we’ll be waiting for 6 months to find out who Negan’s victim is, and there will be so much speculation along the way.
