2 of the 10 starters from Kentucky. Which is two more than Duke, Louisville, UNC, UCLA, Kansas, and Indiana combined.

Here are the votes. Sadly, Demarcus wasn't even close. Clearly there is a voter bias in favorite and/or HOF players... Kobe was WELL over voted for.. and Duncan was a little high himself.

Congrats but expected for weeks.

But I'm rather shocked the Gasol brothers will be starting against each other just like on the Spanish playgrounds.

when i look at that list of guards for the eastern and western conference i fear for andrew harrison to ever make an impact in the nba. he doesn't hold a candle to the top 20 point guards in the league.

i hope i am wrong. i didn't see brandon knight being this successful and he has done well, although not on this list of all star guards.

Gets the Euro Viewer. But also, it's a fan vote. I'm sure they had tons of votes from Spain. Kind of like Yao Ming. He was a great player.. but he certainly got China's vote.

His team is winning. The Kings have never won...and that matters. Think Wall and Lowry would be the starting backcourt if their teams weren't near the top of the East?

Of course guys like Kobe and Carmelo get votes even playing on losers, but they have developed a reputation over time. Cousins needs to lead the Kings out of the Western Conference basement and he will start getting more love.

It is a shame guys like Millsap and Teague are not getting more love. Maybe it is because they play on the same team, or maybe nobody who votes knows the gd Hawks are balling. No, not a Hawks fan, I just would like to see some new faces in old places. The foreign from Orlando is having a really solid year.

I don't disagree... but I do think, like Selection Sunday, they know that matchups and story lines generate money. Pau vs. Marc. It generates buzz.
