  • Walmart on Tuesday announced changes to its gun-sales policies and asked shoppers to stop openly carrying firearms in its stores nationwide in response to two deadly shootings at Walmart stores in El Paso, Texas, and Southaven, Mississippi.

  • The company also said it planned to end the sale of ammunition for handguns and some types of rifles, and it will stop selling handguns in Alaska, which is the only state where Walmart sells handguns.

  • "We know these decisions will inconvenience some of our customers, and we hope they will understand," Walmart CEO Doug McMillon said in a memo to employees.

  • McMillon said he is a gun owner and that the company remains committed to its long heritage of supporting hunters. The company will continue to sell the shotguns and rifles that it carries.

  • If shoppers openly carry guns into Walmart stores going forward, store managers may ask the shopper to leave and safely secure their gun in their vehicle before returning to the store. The policies will vary by location, however, and shoppers who are openly carrying guns may not always be asked to leave the store, a Walmart spokesman said.

I'm sure the gun guys in here know about this site, but if anyone isn't familiar with it here ya go. Click a couple buttons and a couple days later as many bullets as you want show up on your doorstep and at a better price, all without even having to leave your house. F#ck WalMart.

Oh, and, uh, as always, YWIA.

The Walmart Grandsons sound pretty smart to me. They gave $millions to build best Mountain bike trails US down in Arkansas and kicking out gun nuts.

as a red blooded American i support your right to carry a gun according to the laws of your municipality. but if you are too scared to walk around your friendly neighborhood walmarts without your gun, then you should move.

because you might be ________ that you couldn't handle it without a gun. right?
Why would it bother you if someone has a gun? I actually feel safe when I go into a store and see someone with a weapon on their hip.

How many mass shooters paid attention to a "Gun Free Zone" sign? Just think how stupid it is and how many people have lost their life because everyone was unarmed except the man walking through killing people randomly

100% of shootings take place because of a gun. the way johnny cope sees it, if you have to holster up to go shopping for your panties and summers eve then you probably should just use amazon.

if you pansies would square up like real men we wouldn't need no guns.

As red blooded Americans we are fortunate that nobody has ever been shot in a "No Guns Zone" I am thankful mass killers pay attention to signs when they start their killing spree. They search out areas where guns are welcome in the store.

Whats funny is that Walmart is catering to the outcry from the left, when they know for a fact their bread is buttered from the right. You think the liberal elitist a-holes are shopping at Walmart? Its high time Walmart was slapped back a few rungs anyway. The problem is in most rural communities they are one of the only options to shop without significant driving time.

And always love how the antigun crowd chimes in about, man up or are you scared. The problem ultimately is the ******* shooting up has a gun, you would be retarded to man up and act like he will drop his and fight you instead. I mean there is some really stupid things said, but manning up to a dude with a gun has to be right at the tp of the most brain dead comments ever made.
