I'd tell you that you're a racist bigot, but you are too ignorant to understand. Are you smart enough to understand that you are a hypocrite? Doubtful. Continue on.

Please, Phil.

Enlighten me on how I’m a racist bigot for looping low-hanging redneck stereotypes together in a post about Walmart - a place where these stereotypes congregate. I didn’t say every white was a camo-clad dipper in an American flag airbrushed tee with a Duck Dynasty hat. Just the dumb ones. As a liberal elite, I’m obviously Target class. We got transgender bathrooms and Starbucks. You have Mickey D’s and mobility scooters for the morbidly obese 26 year-olds who can’t waddle across the store on foot.

Finally, how am I a hypocrite?

Walmart quit carrying violent video games too. I just went to GameStop and bought one instead. Didn’t whine online. Just did that free market thang and took my money elsewhere. Capitalism is an easy concept to grasp.

I've always thought that citizens with guns on their hips in public were just trying to get attention.
Bingo. When I see open carry guy in public, I instantly think the dude is an attention *****. Probably a volunteer fire fighter with a huge truck, decked out with a gazillion emergency lights. I don't feel safe with those morons around. They are the type who would most likely drop their gun or shoot more bystanders if **** broke out. Never understood why people want to go all cowboy at the grocery store other than wanting attention.

What Walmart did does not affect me at all. I will buy what I need elsewhere. What does piss me off is them caving in on the gun debate. It is not the gun, nor the bullet, it is the person pulling the trigger. Cell phone use while driving kills far more people each year than a mass shooting, and yet, no one is raising hell about banning cell phones. So it is NOT, nor has it ever been, about loss of life, but rather a political talking point and about control.

I respect Open Carry guy. If the argument is that having guns everywhere prevents crime, then a bunch of guys with pistols on their hips would prevent more crime.

Take an average Wal-Mart clientele today and drop them into a K-Mart in 1965. What do you think the reactions among the 1965 shoppers would be?

Sure. Why not. I actually don't think it's racist to acknowledge certain stereotypes. Where there is smoke there is fire, and most of them are pretty accurate. People who aren't offended by everything even make fun of their own stereotypes. I simply used the same words against you that you would say to someone if they for example, used a bunch of black stereotypes to make fun of someone. You would call them racist and you know it. You're a hypocrite because you use stereotypes to put down a certain group of people, but would condemn someone else if they did the same thing but with a different group.

Capitalism is a wonderful thing. On this we can agree. Don't like how a place conducts business, shop elsewhere. But we also have this thing called freedom of speech, which means people can express their opinion when they disagree with what a business is doing. So we post about it on a message board. Perhaps we should be more rational and handle things like your side does, meaning, we march up and down the street screaming in our ****** hats.

The last guy I saw open carry was a dude I was in line behind at a convenience store. He was probably pushing 4 bills and his gun holster was leaning at a 45 degree angle and the butt of his gun partially covered by one of his fat rolls. If there had been a situation where he needed to get to his gun, he'd probably have to get somebody to help him.[laughing]

100% of shootings take place because of a gun. the way johnny cope sees it, if you have to holster up to go shopping for your panties and summers eve then you probably should just use amazon.

if you pansies would square up like real men we wouldn't need no guns.
Talks about "squaring up like real men", yet avatar proves he's g-@-why. Tell us please, or don't please, when you think of a real man do you moan or do you pant?

I find it a bit unnerving to see someone in civilian clothes walking around in a public place with a visible fire arm. I mean how am I suppose to know if they are "good guy or a bad guy"? I have no problem at all with WalMart or anyone other licensed dealer selling guns and ammo to law abiding citizens, but I won't patronize a place that allows open carry.

I’m not so sure you do. I'm pretty sure you agree as long as the business is acting in accordance with your beliefs. The minute they don't, you want the government to force them to.

Don’t know why this would bother you or anyone else. It’s what I don’t see that bothers me and I conceal carry. I have walked into banks, post office etc with a concealed gun. I don’t mind seeing people open carry. I have no desire to do it.

I grew up in Louisville and lived there until I was 18 which was about 30 years ago. I don't recall ever seeing anyone wearing or carrying a gun in a store. Before you say that is just an "urban" experience, my relatives live in the country (Allen Co and Grayson/Edmonson Counties) and I used to visit there regularly and I don't remember people there carrying guns in public either (unless you're talking about hunting rifles). Have things changed? Is this more widespread now?

Back then Antifa and BLM and common thugs weren’t blocking traffic, pulling people out of cars beating them, or teenagers attacking elderly people, or hitting people from behind with cabins and bike locks. So yea, times have changed. 30 years ago I never took a gun with me, now I keep one with me.

Good luck putting gasoline in your tank just anywhere. And we can assume you live in a state that allows open carry (likely Kentucky) or you would not be seeing it, would not be a vaginal concern. So anywhere you do not see a sign clearly forbidding firearms or, at a minimum, open carry, just turn right around a keep looking, keep looking, keep looking, for somewhere to buy your tampons.

So don’t patronize a place that allows customers to exercise a constitutional right? Seems reasonable.

As Dore95 said there is nothing about open carry in the Constitution. People can legally open carry in places where state or local ordinance allow it. People do have a right not to be in a place that they view as potentially dangerous. And merchants have a right not to allow open carry weapons in their stores if they choose.

Many of the domestic terrorists purchased their weapons legally and some may have been legally carrying them at the time the committed their actions.

Orly?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.wa...ans-have-constitutional-right-carry-guns-pub/

Seems to depend on interpretation of the second amendment... I will “carry on” thank you...

In Heller V. DC a case about the rights of DC to establish restrictions on guns, although Heller won, Justice Scallia writing for the majority said that states and local governments can establish reasonable restrictions on fire arms possessions.

This decision would never make it to the SCOTUS but if it did it would be struck down easily on precedence.

We're not "scared" lol.
When will the confiscation process start to go into the crime ridden cities and drug cartel gang places of operations and take away their "assult" weapons and see if they've passed background checks. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the Democrats running for office is an idiot. Leave the law abiding, tax paying gun owners alone!!!!!!!

I'm the opposite of those who are against this...makes me feel safe and somebody there is on my side. I am totally for the Second Amendment and don't even own weapons. Know lots of folks who shoot for sport like i go to football games. It's their thing. Worked with a guy who paid for his house shooting in competition.

As red blooded Americans we are fortunate that nobody has ever been shot in a "No Guns Zone" I am thankful mass killers pay attention to signs when they start their killing spree. They search out areas where guns are welcome in the store.

Isn't it amazing that nobody has figured this out yet?!

Open carry is too showy and a bit pretentious. I'd rather shoot you when you don't see it coming. Artillery!
