Seems like Carolina is right there with the powerhouses.

Considering 11 of the teams listed are SEC teams, there is a lot of overlap in that list. When UGA plays Bama, Tennessee, Texas and Ole Miss, both teams in the matchup get the benefit of the large viewership. I think a better statistic would be the lowest watched game for each team. That number would more accurately reflect the public's interest in a given team. The SC/Coastal, UGA/Charlotte, Bama/Eastern IL, etc. games would show how many viewers the bigger programs actually draw.

This is all true but from a brand exposure perspective, I see this as a good metric.
When we win, it is. When we blow a 27 point lead against the #3 team, it has the opposite effect. Futility does not get recruits.

What's amazing is that ND isn't higher on that list, considering they are the only team with their own TV deal with a major network. I guess their 5 games per year against ACC teams isn't exactly boosting their ratings.

Also, as this list pertains to us, I assume these are last year's numbers? With so many of our games this year on the SEC network, it's hard to imagine that our ratings would be as strong.
