Seems CmC has an affinity for bringing in some HUGE Defensive Tackles!
Thank you Lord!

It’s essential that he do this; IMO, the d-tackles often are the difference between a legitimate contender and a pretender.Seems CmC has an affinity for bringing in some HUGE Defensive Tackles!

This is true. IMO, the two biggest recruiting misses of the Franklin era were Christian Wilkins and Justin Fields. Wilkins would have been the game changing DT that PSU was lacking. It’s essential that he do this; IMO, the d-tackles often are the difference between a legitimate contender and a pretender.
This was the case ever since Sean Spencer who preferred using a fleet of light guys (6-8 in rotation) who would be fresh as the game went on. And it sort of worked until it didn’t against the big guys. When he left, Franklin never seemed to change from it but also never quite had a fleet. It seemed to drift down to same size but 4 in rotation and that doesn’t work.CMC has addressed my biggest complaint about Franklin's teams. He is aggressively bringing in true fire hydrants to stop the inside run. Next step is to get physical mobile ones that can disrupt the LOS allowing the DE's to clean up.
The democrats suck. But so do the republicans.Give it time.
I agree. Durant was a beast last year with Carter commanding double teams. Perhaps he gets drafted as a DE on a 3-4 team? This was the case ever since Sean Spencer who preferred using a fleet of light guys (6-8 in rotation) who would be fresh as the game went on. imagine for a minute, Zane Durant with 3-4 315 lb’er rotating next to him. That could have been crazy good.
UGA probably wouldn’t have won their NCs in 2021 and 2022 without all of their great d-linemen, despite having a talent advantage at most other positions. This is true. And Pitt swallowsSEC sucks

I was afraid that crazy Mack Daddy guy resurfaced with another screen name.Wasn't War Daddy the name of the Auburn poster who visited us during the 2 year series with Auburn? That's what came to mind when I saw the title. I may be wrong.
Apologize to the original poster -- but -- 'Fury' is one of the greatest anti-war movies, ever .... as War does terrible things to 'people'.Wardaddy makes me think of the movie Fury. Brad Pitt's character was nicknamed Wardaddy in Fury. I love that movie. Original Tiger tank #131 is seen in the movie. Last shootout was loosely based on the heroism of Audie Murphy.

Don't confuse true conservatives with RINO's or Neocons. If you add 5% poop to the stew you end up with poop stew. The democrats suck. But so do the republicans.![]()
looking at the thread title I honestly thought this was going to be a political thread.
Wasn't that Franklin's philosophy, more "speed" - which typically comes at the expense of "stoutness?"This was the case ever since Sean Spencer who preferred using a fleet of light guys (6-8 in rotation) who would be fresh as the game went on. But in the words of Bear Bryant "speed kills"Wasn't that Franklin's philosophy, more "speed" - which typically comes at the expense of "stoutness?"
