Watch the D-Line...they don't fire forward--they stand and CATCH the OL

No attack in them from the 1st step.

It's Elam, but it's not just Elam. I'm wondering if they're actually taught NOT to re-establish the LOS. Causes them to get DRIVEN when OL is run blocking.

Exactly, we should be firing off low and into their assigned gap. We stand strait up looking to make tackles. This is pee wee football stuff.

Yes...if you watch the drills they practice. They are COACHED to hit OL, extend arms, look for ball carrier and then dis-engage OL (which isn't realistically possible 95% of the time).

Stoops/Elliot are goners...this 3-4 is total disaster.

The 3-4 has NEVER worked here. When Stoops said we were going to this I cringed.

They played quite a bit of 4-3 and it still didn't work. I don't know what to say anymore. I wanted Stoops to succeed, but it doesn't seem like that is going to happen.

IF they are being taught to "Catch " the OL instead of aggressively re-establishing a new LOS 1-yard deep, then it doesn't matter if they're running a 3-4, 4-3, 10-1, or 11-0.
