Louisville is a dump of a town, though. Lived there for 3 months and never seen so many out of shape, disgusting people.

That is all.

The same Bridgewater who is 28th out of 32nd in passer rating? Who is 30th among qualified quarterbacks in yards per start?

He's a solid game manager and has helped the Vikings become a contending team. That's all. Houston may regret not trading up for him but I seriously doubt that Jacksonville regrets Bortles for a moment.

I think he'll be a lot more than a game manager going forward. He seems like a guy that will steadily get better and better over time. JAX isn't regretting Bortels, I'm just wondering how many teams passed on him. Seems like a bunch did.

Looks like he went 32nd. Well, somebody probably would have done good by picking him. We'll see as time goes on. Only U of L player I can honestly say I ever liked.

I'm sure Houston, with the worst QB in the AFC south is kicking themselves that they didn't reach, take a guy 31 spots ahead of where he went, just so they could have *gasp* the worst QB in the AFC south

Probably the only franchise that should be kicking themselves is Cleveland. Taking Johnny Football over Teddy. But I'm quite sure that Teddy is very grateful they past.

I had no idea he was ranked that low in passing. I guess the times I've seen him he's made some great plays and looked good. But the stats say otherwise. I still see him as a guy that slowly rises each year but could end up being very wrong on that. I wish he went somewhere else besides U of L as he seems likeable.

He not having a great year but his Vikings are playoff contenders and have won 8 games...the issue is their OL is going to get him killed and they have no true weapons on the outside.

I agree. Teddy seems to lack a supporting cast. I think he can be a good NFL QB......but not elite. Maybe on par with Rivers or Ryan caliber in a few yrs.

His line is pretty bad but he makes it worse with his indecision. He burps the baby way too much and gets a case of happy feet. The situation is kinda similar to what we went through this year with Towles. Did the QB simply suck or was the line so bad they made the QB suck. It's was/is probably a little bit of both at UK/Minny.

In a few years you expect him to be much better than Winston, Mariota, Bortles and Carr? Cause those are the 5 young guys who get grouped together (poor Johnny Football doesn't even get an also-ran mention haha), and Teddy is far and away behind all 4 of them, who are all behind Rivers. I'd also argue Minnesota has much better talent around him than those 4 have certainly better than Tennessee and Oakland.

When you talk about Rivers you're talking about a guy who's near elite. Any given season he's in that #4-#10 range. I never see Teddy being top 20 in the league. You can win with him if you build your team correctly, the same way we saw teams win super bowls with Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer, but I don't think you'll ever see a team win in the NFL because of Bridgewater. He's a bottom third guy his whole career IMO. He's won't be as awful going forward as he is this year, but he'll never be special.

Guys games come and go pretty fast in football, you can go from an all pro to unemployed in a season... but I'd say look at Matt Kalil. Pro bowl as a rookie, very well thought of young, athletic tackle. They draft Teddy and the last two years he can't block anybody. I don't think a guy with his athletic pedigree and ability is simply washed up at 26. I'm not saying the line couldn't/shouldn't be improved in Minny, but Bridgewater exacerbates their problems as you've mentioned.

I can't believe you guys don't see through my trolling.

Its a lot of work fixing your posts for you.

Grow up/get a life buddy. I know several UK fans, like myself that like humble players like Bridgewater. I'm a big Pro football fan and I watched them play the other night and it was a simple observation. Your detective kit is out of date. Better go back to Target and buy a new one.

He literally gave that win to Arizona. Just out right handed it to them. If you're as big a pro football fan as all that, I don't know why you think Houston would want such a sub par quarterback. You said you're a fan of an AFC south team other than Houston. Tell me, would you swap QB's with Minny?

No, I would not. This thread was over long ago, until somebody else bumped it. I could care less about Bridgewater. I just think he'll do well and he's humble. Later.

No. I said that he "could" be among the better QBs in the league. Like top 10-12.....which Rivers/Ryan are. They bounce around from 5-12 on any given yr. Doesn't mean he will.

On a side note, I'm a Titans' fan and I'm giddy. He currently has a very good shot of breaking the rookie TD record held only by Wilson and Manning......and Mariota is on quite a poor team.

For such a big fan, you know very little about football. Sad and pathetic.
