Way OT for the AKB…….Spain

I learn a lot of non-football, non-sports, and non-PSU stuff from the wise and sage here. So has anyone been to Valencia and/or Alicante area? Looking to do some wine tasting there. If you’ve been there, how are the hotels and transportation services? TIA for any info. Have a great holiday

I went to Spain in December of 2023 and stayed several days in Valencia. Didn't stay in a hotel but took the Metro down from the North (Rafelbunol) and it was pretty standard metro experience. The historic core of the city was every bit as interesting as Barcelona where we had spent an abbreviated day on the way through. Didn't taste wine but we did have a 'locals lunch' with a friend who lives there now--blood sausage (my choice) sandwich and a bottle of tempreanillo with soda water for something like 6 Euro. You need a nap after that one!
