It's playoff time!
4A: Geneseo (#9 6-3) vs North Chicago (#24 2-7) Honestly, I don't see Geneseo being tested in this one. Geneseo 49 – North Chicago 7
Sterling (#4 7-2) gets a bye and awaits the winner of Marmion Academy/North Lawndale Charter.
5A: LaSalle Peru (#15 4-5) vs Galesburg (#18 4-5) A lot of this match up depends on if Galesburg has its starting QB and RB back in the line up. With those two, I think Galesburg can firepower their way past an very up and down LP team. Without them, I don't think they can get it done. Galesburg 38 – LP 28
6A: United Township (#16 5-4) vs Champaign Central (#17 5-4) I think this one has potential to be a close game. The little bit I know about Central is it seems that have a do it all at running back...just like UT does. Question will probably be which defense gets an important stop in the second half. UT 31 – Central 30
Quincy (#9 6-3) vs Thornton Fractional South (#24 3-6) I think Quincy got a pretty good draw to be able to at least make the "Second" round. When Quincy's offense is clicking, it's very tough to stop. Quincy 45 – TFS 6
7A: Moline (#18 6-3) vs Benet Academy (#47 2-7) Can never really tell what you are getting with an under .500 CCL school, but Moline has been playing really well as the season has gone on, and gotten healthier. Moline 28 – Benet 24
