Geneseo 29 – Macomb 0: Geneseo was never really threatened in this game and penalties and turnovers kept them from running away with this game. Geneseo looked like a team that played bigger opponents most of it’s season while Macomb looked a step slower and out of sorts attempting to block the Geneseo D-line.
Glenbard North 22 – Moline 14: Glenbard would blitz out to a 19-0 lead as they would stonewall the Moline offense most of the first half and part of the third quarter. The Moline defense kept the Maroons in this game with some heroic efforts to give the offense a chance to start the comeback. Moline’s last second onside kick was recovered by Glenbard, who ran out the clock to move on.
