Moline 35 - United Township 27: Both teams would score on big plays in this game. Moline would score first on a 55 yrd pass, and then would never trail the entire game. UT would take the kick off back to the house, but miss the PAT. The teams would continue to trade scores with Moline leading 21-14 at the half. Moline would score coming out of the half and UT was never able to catch up.
Galesburg 35 – Rock Island 7: Bit of a ho hum game as Rocky looked out of sorts and Galesburg didn’t seem interested in putting the game away. Galesburg would race out to a 28-7 halftime lead, put the back up quarterback in, and cruise to an easy win. Galesburg outgained Rocky 405 to 152.
Quincy 52 – Sterling 28: Quincy could do no wrong as they hammer the visiting Warriors. Bryson Little threw for 398 yards and 4 touchdown. For Sterling, it was a game of missed opportunities as a first half interception and a turn over on down at the Quincy 1 killed alot of their momentum. Leading 24-14 at the half, Quincy would put the clamps down and speed away to turn the game into a rout.
