Sterling vs Rock Island: This one probably means a lot more to Sterling than it does Rocky. Sterling is looking to lock up the conference title and right the ship after getting waxed by Quincy last week. Id say Rocky is playing for pride, but they showed very little of it last week. Maybe the coaches get them fired up to play? Sterling 42 – Rocky 7

Geneseo vs Quincy: Geneseo is coming off a much needed bye week to reset having lost 3 of their last 4. Quincy showed that it can still be a force by dismantling Sterling. Needless to say, this game will be one of contrasting styles as Quincy should air it out far more times than it runs, while Geneseo remembers what a pass is every once and awhile. The big question will be which Quincy team decides to show up. Quincy 38 – Geneseo 31

Galesburg vs Moline: So, crazy thing with this game is it could become a shoot out with Moline being unstoppable on the ground, and Galesburg being an throwing juggernaut. Galesburg is looking for it's first win over Moline since 2016 (and most since then haven't been close) but this Galesburg teams is hard not to like. Upset it is!! Galesburg 42 – Moline 41.

United Township will receive a forfeit win over Alleman.

Current standing:
Sterling 6-2 (4-1)
Moline 5-3 (4-1)
Quincy 6-2 (3-2)
United Township 5-4 (3-3)
Geneseo 5-3 (2-3)
Galesburg 4-4 (2-3)
Rock Island 0-8 (0-5)

Probably, but outside of one team every once in a while, a short post season seems to be the norm for the conference.
The funny thing is I thought overall the conference was better than usual this year but mainly on offense. Sterling, UT, Quincy and Galesburg all pretty good passing games and Geneseo with their clock killing run game . But on the defensive side every team seems horrible, but again the offenses good so maybe that’s part of the defensive problem. I forget though that Moline and UT are 7A so yeah, probably a quick out for both Not sure about Galesburg in 6A but they will put up points, just not stop anyone but Sterling however in 5A and Geneseo in 4A now they may get to play a couple of playoff games anyway.

Sterling currently listed in 4A. Soucie has them as the #4 seed in the North getting a bye.
