Well, now we have one. RU just announced that Desiree Keeling is transferring. No mention of where she is going yet.

She wasn't going to get that much playing time. Seemed somewhat winded at times. Good luck to her. Wonder if somebody else is on the CVS radar.

Interesting. She should certainly get more playing time there than she would at RU next season. IMO she was better as a freshman / sophomore than as a junior - possibly due to injuries or maybe just conditioning. I wish her well.

I wonder if RU will be bringing in any transfers. We could use someone like Chloe Jackson who is transferring from LSU and would be eligible immediately. She was their leading scorer and IMO would fit in much the way Gia Greene did this season.

Desiree Keeling to transfer from RU

PISCATAWAY, NJ. – Rutgers junior center/forward Desiree Keeling will transfer from the Scarlet Knight women's basketball program, it was announced by head coach C. Vivian Stringer.

Keeling, a native of Roanoke, Virginia, appeared in 22 games as a junior in 2017-18.

In her career at Rutgers, Keeling averaged 10.4 minutes per game averaging 2.3 points and 2.7 rebounds. She netted a career-high of 21 points that came in a double overtime contest with James Madison in December of 2016. Keeling also collected a double-double later that month against Temple with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

"We are appreciated of Desiree's commitment to the Scarlet Knights over the last three seasons and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors," said Stringer.
