Really tough loss to UNL. Might have set some sort of record for consecutives missed shots in the third quarter.

NU deserved to lose that game with lousy shooting and overall energy but it was horrendous end of game clock/situation management with the game tied and a 2 second clock differential and possession. Very bad. Bad on McKeown for that part of it.

Did we have a time out? That was a poor decision for sure. After we came down from being down in a minute.

There were also a couple of occasions that it seemed Nebraska was just lucky with shots bouncing off the rim and going in.

Rough loss. I thought NU would have a great chance in OT had they made it. Positive note..Burton is a fantastic story for NU. Bad luck was used up so NU wins Citrus.

Thought lack of height would be a big deal this season. We'll see I guess.
I agree. We lack a couple of 6'3' or 6'4" players with some scoring and rebounding ability to go toe-to-to with the better teams. Actually, I'd settle for one. The end of the Nebraska game was particularly bad. Pulliam took a bad shot with 13 seconds left and no 'Cats in a position to rebound. The ball should have gone to Burton for a drive to the basket. Also bad was permitting Nebraska's guard to rebound her own miss under the basket and make the winning shot with less than a second left. Finally our shooting, including free throw shooting, were terrible in the second half. This was a game which we should have won by about a dozen. Once again, Burton was the best player on the floor, and we didn't get it to her at the end.
