I think it depends on whether he can stand the physicalness of the NBA. Plus he will have to want it a little more and not spend so much floor time as a "laid back" individual. Has all the skills to be GREAT! Just needs to want ot more

WCS will be a top 8-10 pick...

where and when exactly he will go depends on the drafter lottery order...and what teams need...teams with offensive needs may not look his way...teams that have scorers/creators but lack some athleticism and defense in the front court may want to seriously consider him...

New York--The knicks already have offense for the next 6-10 years in Melo...I don't know that they need an offensive center piece...they need defense, length, and athleticism in the front court...WCS gives them that...

76ers...have length, athleticism, and defense in the front court with Embiid and Noel...they need explosiveness and scoring in the backcourt...Mudiay, Russell make the most sense for them...

Orlando--thin at center...they have a decent core of young talent with Gordon, Olidipo, Peyton, Harris...they will take whomever is available out of WCS, Okafor, and Towns...

Lakers--need just about everything...a superstar to replace kobe...and solid pieces to put around him...JR is nice, but he isn't going to be able to carry the load...they need better players across the board...they have options with two first round picks...

Denver--thin at SG and SF...Stanley Johnson, Russell, KAT would all fill immediate needs for them...

Sacramento--also needs upgrades and depth at both SG and SF...

Minnesota--need improvements at C and SG...Rubio, Wiggins, Lavine, Payne, Bennett are a solid young core of players, but they need some help...Towns, Okafor, and WCS all make sense here...

They probably bleed blue just as much as you. That's why I don't get this forum, some think they know it all and think they are cool because you have no life other than to sit on this forum and name-call. Get another hobby, jeez lmao. Hint, just because you have posted 7,312 times on here doesn't mean you have more basketball knowledge than the next. You must have been bullied in school, pathetic.

STEVEGRO you simply post to be a contrarian. Your constant negativity about fans and the team is getting thin. Maybe you have found a kindred spirit in W1LDCAT22 and can find a quiet cave and live happily ever after.

He's gotten better each year. I don't see why he wont continue to do so. He'll be fine in the NBA.. Remember he played football in high school. That made him a little less developed as a basketball player than some of the bigs that have come through KY. Glad he's spending his time developing at Ky!

TY Fossil for point this out - I rarely get upset/peeved over what is posted on a message board, but this kind of crap is over the top, and I couldn't come up with a good response this time. And yes, if I don't like, it, I don't have to read it, I agree.

You mean like DeAndre Jordan? One of the best true centers in the league?

I guess he's one dimensional if you break the game down into defense/rebounding and interior offense. I guess I'd break it down into interior defense, ability to play team defense/switch on screens etc, rebounding both offensively and defensively, transition, pick and roll play, along with others.

WCS will make his money playing defense, rebounding, running the floor, and setting screen and subsequently rolling to the hoop for lobs. And doing those things very well (if he is able to like I think) will earn him compensation greater then 10 million a year for his second contract.

The NBA is trending to where they want dudes who can protect the paint and defend, all other skills be damned. DeAndre Jordan has barely taken a shot outside of the paint all year. Did you see Joakim Noah try to shoot a jumper the other day? It was embarrassing, and he's an all star.

WCS as is can play a decade in the NBA without changing a thing. Anything he adds is pure bonus.

Agree with one poster above. Expect him to go but it would not shock me to see him come back. Would love to see him develop the offensive game while still a CAT.
