We’re #1 in the nation in Fumbles lost. We’re #2 after USU in overall turnovers. This is ugly, but there’s a silver lining: if we hold onto the ball, then we should win be able to beat Wiscy.

Northwestern leads the nation with nine lost fumbles and has committed 13 turnovers. Only Utah State (15) has given the ball away more times.

An update: Utah State only turned the ball over once yesterday in their victory over Air Force, while we turned it over 3 times.

So we’re now tied for #1 in overall turnovers with 16! Go Cats!

In my turnover thread, I had suggested that players should be forced to walk around campus for a week with a football duct-taped to their hands.

What do you think of that suggestion?

I’d think that they should be focusing on their studies during most of the week.

How about we hire real coaches instead?

Didn't JJTBC used to practice with a greased-up football or something?

They’d be self-identifying as football players, which would just be mortifying I’m sure.
