This place is turning into a mental institution on game days... Andrew is the starting PG and we are 19-0, and we are damn lucky he chose to be a wildcat

Agree. So tired of seeing and hearing people bash this kid. Ugly side of our fanbase that quite frankly is embarrassing. I can't imagine hearing these things about my kid.

Helped lead UK to a national title game appearance as a frosh. Now UK is 19-0 in his 2nd season.

It's a shame *some* fans have chosen to bash the guy. Like all players, he earns criticism from time to time, but his seems over the top. Worse, the media and Andrew himself have picked up on it. Now we get to hear how UK fans treat Andrew Harrison poorly even though the vast majority don't offer him any criticism.

GBB!!!

Amen, brother. Both Twins are my fav players on the team. Andrew has a lot of responsibility running the team. Cal asks a lot out of him, and I don't think the fans really appreciate it, or recognize it enough. I'm glad he's grown up a lot and seems to be able to keep the clutter out of his head.

Love ya, Andrew, keep on bringing it !

Go Big Blue !

Absolutely! I can't see what all these whiners are crying about. He's a tough kid that we will miss one day.

Lucky he decided to come back.

Harrow took us to the NIT and we couldn't wait to get the Twins. The banner said "Keep Calm the Twins are Coming"

The national media built them up to tear them down. 40-0 talk before they touched the floor. Only to laugh at us for believing it and then what do they do? Take us to the title game with one of the most memorable runs ever through the tourney after losing their defensive stopper. Not to mention they lead a team of 5 freshmen starters. Unheard of.

Now they have us 19-0 with yet again...gulp...40-0 talks and not just 40-0 talks but talks of the greatest basketball team ever. What?

Truly amazing what we have here in the Twins. I can't thank them enough.

Yes, we are lucky to have him.

I feel sorry for Andrew. Reading Brett's article the other day, it's clear that some of the joy has been stripped for him. Whenever someone says they no longer care what people say about them, it's a clear sign that they're paying attention and do care.

It's a shame that some of our so-called "fans" take their own insecurities out on a guy who all he's done since he's been here is start every game for one team that played in the National Championship game and another team that is undefeated and being compared to some of the greatest teams of all-time.

Those with a bit of intelligence and who have their emotions under control can see just how crazy it has become. Those who can't are part of that segment that have made the UK fanbase the most hated in the country.

Look to distribute, be a good passer, create...and when they are covered attack the rim and get to the FT line.

If he does the above he will fill his role even better on this team. He has to improve his shooting somehow, someway. That is why I say attack the basket.

Andrew is loved by the VAST MAJORITY of UK fans.

Yes there are things he can improve on just like EVERY other UK teammate.

It will be Andrews toughness that helps us get #9

Damn right OP. I am sick of the Harrison bashers on here. People talk so bad about Andrew and it truly sickens me. Cal knows it as well which is why he said Andrew gets blamed for everything. People on here are way to critical of him and they won't be like that towards any other players on the team.

Human behavior. Expectations cause perception. If he were ranked 40th in the nation rather than in the top 10, we wouldn't have been so hard on the kid.

People don't appreciate the twins because they aren't flashy, but they are steady, calm, and effective. And they shut people down on defense.

I don't think anyone wants Andrew gone. They just want him to improve and be a leader.

Last year in our March transformation he became a pass first PG and a leader. I think it can be argued he has played worse this year than the end of the season last year. Is that acceptable to you?

Honest question - in terms of getting the ball and running the offense do you think our 3,4,5 guys on the frontline would rather have the Harrisons or Booker and Ulis?

Agree.

We have some of the dumbest fans on the planet, not for their terrible takes, but for the fact they think they know more than a future HOF coach.

(We also have some of the best fans on the planet too)

Concur.
can't stand half the idiots on this board.
I read some guy say he's sick of being dissapointed in this team and to bench andrew.
Buddy if you're dissapointed in 19-0 start..... You have issues.
everyone also keep mentioning andrew and tournament.
the tournament is exactly where we need andrew.
That's where he will shine. When ulis and booker go cold and out only option is to drive and draw.
Your gonna thank Andrew for being here.
I watched Tyler drive in today and get his shot thrown multiple times.
I love every player on this team...
andrew is an equal part of the success.
Stop hating.
They win. Despite the massive waves of negativity you so called true blues dish out.

Well said. At the beginning of the season, analysts were questioning whether our team had the maturity accept less playing time and stats for the good of the team. The team has obviously stepped up. It's pretty sad that a team of 18 and 19 year old college players display far more maturity than many of the fans on this board. Enjoy this season, BBN! We might never have this kind of talent again in our lives! Go Cats!

People should learn to debate discussions they don't like. That's what the board is for.

Yes there is no way you will ever convince me idiot savants like 3rex and Kumar are really cat fans as they are dumber then IU fans which is sayin something . There are a few haters like who i know are UK fans really and they dissappoint me with there lack of understand for the game of basketball when they bash Andrew but guys like Kumar just are complete jokes and wastes of life that are not UK fans , no how , no way. Andrew played tremendous D and had the best pass of the season to Booker as well yet people ***** . tells you all you need to know.

He is littering all these threads with his nonsense. seriously a thread could be title - Where should i eat in Mizzouri on thursday? and somewhere in the thread Kumar would have this to say - Good luck getting a meal as our crappy starting pg will make sure all the restuarants are closed.

People need to understand that the contact being allowed this year makes Andrew that much tougher on defense with his size. Listen to the other team after games. Huge advantage. On the flip side those rules make it harder for him to penetrate with smaller guys getting under him. He is fine offensively when we go with 3 guards because it takes pressure off him.
