WE ARE... ranked 7th in the USA Today coaches poll

I stayed at the JMU hotel on campus a few weeks ago. That's a nice little campus, but they only built half of a football stadium.
What we’re up against.
I actually think our situation is better than normal. No way we get into CFP with 2 losses, we know that. But if we win all the games we will be favored in AND beat either a highly ranked UM or OSU team then we are really close. If either OSU or UM have a loss going into our game it hurts us. With them both considered real CFP contenders, a W against either is huge.
Does this mean that I have to start reading USA Today? I honestly didn't even know they still existed.
Shouldn’t we be discussing how AP Coaches Poll rankings are meaningless? No, not because it’s August. No, because Penn State is ranked high.

We ended last season #7 in coaches poll. Starting this season #7. Clearly he didn't improve the team any in the off-season!

No need to shout "fire Franklin. " It's the assumed sentiment of the coaching advisory council. It will remain so until Franklin leaves and a new name can be inserted.
Any good results can be attributed to talent and coordinators. ...all failures 1. Franklin 2 biased officiating and 3. The Big Ten Administration.

They still have to play the games. Remember we weren't even ranked at the start of last season.
The line for wins this year is 9.5 which suggests we once again lose to UM & OSU plus there's a 50/50 chance that we'll be upset by another team. We'll see.

BTW, James Madison is the only D1 school in Virginia and West Virginia receiving any votes... that is how far UVA, VTech and WVU have fallen. That really warms my heart
