The problem is that half our fanbase is alright with this.

Indiana, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Vanderbilt are playing for a playoff spot with two weeks to go in the regular season. All have worse facilities, a fraction of our NIL and have had losing records within the past five years.

There is no reason we can’t compete at this level. If the playoff ever expands to 24, we should expect to be in contention most years.

College baseball is a minor sport that only a few schools care about. It is incapable of paying the bills as it is almost always a money loser.

To be really fair, ALL of those schools have WAY more money than we do, WAY more.
