I know ISU's top scorer was out and the team wasn't great at OK, but the change since Ahmad and Harris were booted can't be denied. How toxic an influence were these guys? I mean, damn. And Ahmad was a four year player here. WTH was his problem?

It’s sad that Ahmad turned out the way he did. Such as waste of talent

Shouldn't you be ripping on how Huggins is tearing these players confidence down? How he's too old? How the players play scared?

I'l pile on, I don't care. He's an adult who was given too many second chances here. Ahmad might be the biggest disappointment in WVU basketball in decades. Opportunities and talent completely squandered.

What are the odds about Sags? With Culver and Oscar on the team would all three get playing time? If Sags comes back is Gordon gone? Can't see him or Routt getting a lot of minutes with those three on the team. McCabe has really come on lately but would love to see us recruit a PG that would push him next year.

Agreed. These young guys coming together nicely. And with Oscar coming in next year I'm feeling pretty good!

Am feeling better. Think we could have been at least an NIT team he Culver been eligible from start of the season. Am seeing why Bob took the risk with him. Hope he can got to classes & stay clean!!

Getting rid of the dead weight, it was either sink or swim with everyone else.

Haley is perhaps the most improved player. Another JC transfer that is filling it up. McCabe has found the point. Matthews helping as well. Culver well he's a man child. I don't expect Sags to return.

Might lose Saturday but I'm seeing the improvements and a foundation for next year. It's the battle for the bottom Saturday.

Sure. I'll do it. The lack of players has removed a lot of Huggy's ability to make in-game coaching decisions. Most of which were bad.

The players are following their own lead and playing faster and more free. The only time they struggle is when they get bogged down by Huggy's archaic half court offense.

I have been saying from day ONE that Huggy needs to take the leash off these guys and let them RUN.

I think we will only see 6 players return from this year's roster.

Konate
Haley
Gordon
McCabe
Matthews
Culver

I'm not in the camp that really has doubts about McCabe. Thus, I am not sure he requires 'pushing'. With that said, I believe it a necessity to have another PG who can give McCabe rests to allow fresher legs throughout the season and late into all games. To me, that other PG is not Knapper.

A guard that could push McCabe is a guy that could be a great sixth man, be a real PG backup for McCabe and start as a senior. I have been very impressed with McCabe over the last month but injuries happen, flu and mono happen. There is no backup for him at this point.

Culver and McCabe are the Pillars. They allow Haley, Matthews, West, Harler and the others to play with reckless abandon. Want to see Doomes and Gordon cut loose too.
