We have WR's running open every play. Can't figure burning Sills' and White's red shirts.

Ummm...... White has been rotating in and out since the start of the season. Have you watched a game this year?

Sills is tall and looked to have good hands and ball skills. Holgorsen also praised his route running and grasp of the system. He brings things to the table our other receivers don't.

If he has a great grasp of the system why is he the 4th string QB? Seems like it might be more beneficial to give him a shot at his natural position.

That I don't know. I'm still trying to figure out how none of the other QBs aren't worth at least giving a shot when Howard is obviously so physically limited and lacking poise and composure. I honestly would not be surprised if there are former HS QBs in the student section as capable as Howard.

Well Paper .... just how freaking unaware are you?

If you listened to Dana's presser the other day he gave a very reasonable explanation as to why they are playing and there is no mystery to it all.

So our 3rd string QB brings more to the table at WR than those who were recruited to play WR? What does that say out recruiting at the WR position? And if he has that great of a grasp on the system, why is he not playing QB over our current QB that is clearly not getting the job done?

so much fail in one post..................

A) he was our 4th string QB, hence the immediate redshirt designation

B) He had been working as scout-team WR the last month

C) How in the WORLD does knowing how to run routes equal knowing how to play QB?

Give' em a break. I'm sure it sounded great in his own head (which is the only place he's taken seriously).

Although Sills is listed on the roster at QB, the depth chart has him listed as a starting WR. I have heard that the position change was a result of a decision by Sills to play the position.

With all of the QBs we have on the roster right now I'm not sure "wasted" is the right way to phrase it.
