We lost that game 10 out of 10 times last year

This young team is growing up right in front of our eyes.

I think we may be in for a rude awakening on Tuesday, but what an incredible start to our conference season.

Based upon what we saw in the preseason, let's hope young Matt just spends the year eating and lifting. He's way too thin to be competing with the bigs in the B1G.

The header says it all.

Great to see so many different guys step up for the final five minutes every game.

AT 7' he can contribute 5 defensive fouls. Garza represents a huge problem because he can play inside or outside . He will put a lot of stress on post defense -he has great inside post moves despite mediocre jumping ability-thus concerns for foul problems are real

Collins nailed it in his post-game presser. Garza will get his points. The key will be to make him work and not shoot "12 for 13" from the field, and play some D other the other guys. Iowa isn't a great defensive team. NU will push the pace and just try to outscore the Hawks like Minny did.

Pretty much. IA is not a good defense.

But on offense, they are mighty. You pick your poison, double and limit Garza and risk one of the many white guys in buzz cuts going off for 7 threes. Or see Garza score 25 by half time.

There is just a kick-*** vibe to this year's team! Almost like our 95' football team. They all seem to really be having fun and even are very confident that they will somehow find a way to win games. AND they all love their coaches! It is still very early, but we could have a very special year starting here....

We will need lots of fouls guarding Garza. Hope Matt gets some PT this year. A few minutes during these early games will pay dividends in a long season.

I will bet you $1 million Nicholson doesn't play against Iowa.

The other problem is he fouls out half of the other team in the process
