IMO, players are gambling or getting their digs in against teammates by putting the team in a hole. Someone(s) is pissed off about something and tanking.
It certainly feels and looks like that I agree. It felt like point shaving at some points last night. It feels more personal though. The thing is they make everyone looks foolish and hurt their own stock by doing it.

Well, hypothetically speaking: what if there was some truth to the Springer stories? Sure would explain how you go from a team that has promise to a team that doesn’t even run offense and gives up midway through the first tv timeout multiple times. Idk whatever it is, it’s depressing.
For those of us who somehow missed it, what’s the Springer story?

Pope is so similar, to Stoops. He says he's going to get it fixed and the next game it's more of the same. Both likeable, but both can't coach.

They hate losing? No man, they hate playing with each other. They hate playing for Pope. They may actually hate each other period. There **** going on there.
I suspect there is something like they hate each other or there is a cancer. I think that’s what has got me so pissed. Pope is tanking the year instead of putting his big boy pants on and fixing it reguardless if he loses someone. It’s speculation but this isn’t a basketball skill deficiency.

I'm sorry would be a damn good start. Telling the truth about the UofL incident that sent this team south would be a damn good start
Pope started the story about the "out of Character" occurrence before the Louisville game. He would not tell what the episode was. People , here and other places, started with their own interpretation. Pope finally, days later, said it was nothing. He said that he preferred the team relax and keep their emotions in check before games. But, he said for the UL game the emotions came too early. The team was ready to play too early. Sounds like BS to me but that's the way I remember it. The whole story is on Pope.

Yeah and I'd lean they hate playing for pope atop the list. Just look at their body language, hes totally lost the locker room. This is snowballing and going to have ripple effects across recruiting.

Kentucky was 5 for 31 in the first half so not sure about this stat.

There are plenty of awful things that actually happened, let’s not make it worse that's sadistic lol
The last 14 minutes of the UNCheat game they made one field goal and only one field goal in the first 9 minutes of the Gonzaga game so that is 2 for some big number in that 23 minute stretch.

How is that even remotely possible?
This isn’t true.

I wonder if it is taking into acct the last 12 min of Unc game and the first 12 min of this game?
Wouldn’t shock me if true.
Absolutely pathetic.
It probably is and I missed heard part of it.

doesn’t change anything in my mind.

we suck and that’s sadly empirical.

That’s an “lack of effort” problem…..which falls on coaching. Injuries are not a good excuse, the guys we have on the floor have the capability

Again I probably misheard it on the radio and it’s over the course of the last two of three halves. But damn me huh? Guess UK basketball is ok since this is a bit off.

Went basically last 10 mins of unc game without fg and pretty much first 10 mins of zag game.. Was 6/40 fg at one point in that first half going back to last half unc game..

Because for the most part they take bad shots and are not playing team ball very well either. How many times have we jacked up a 3 on the first play early in the shot clock instead of moving the ball.

You do have the option to correct the title of your thread. Is that too difficult a task?

We’re so bad people are just saying stuff like this with confidence and believing it.
