Hey man, glad you like where we are and where Kentucky basketball is headed. Glad you feel good. I’m gonna stick to UK standards and this ain’t it. That was 2 pretty bad teams out there. Take a look at our recruiting class. Beating a crappy Indiana team isn’t saying much. So it’s fine to be glad for it, but some reality needs to be administered here. If you’re celebrating, then that says a lot about where we’re headed as a program. There’s nothing to be happy about with Kentucky basketball.
I wasn’t watching, I have no interests in supporting this product here. You seem to love UK moving into being average program or worse so have all you want. When they get top 10, win consistently, and our recruiting returns to UK levels, I’ll get excited. That post was after I was told we were losing to that dogsht team at home.

The only thing worse than those fair weather fans are those who only enjoy wins to troll other aftewards and rub it in their face rather just simply enjoy a win. This doesn't add anything to the discussion any more than the tantrums people throw during games.
All I can say is ANYTIME UK beats Indiana under ANY circumstances is a GREAT day
My thing is I have to support even when we stink for one… I love Kentucky. 2 I wouldn’t feel right popping back up when they are good if I didn’t stick it out during the bad times.

Its a long season. I think some folks on the board forget that. Its like tonight's game. Go back to the game thread and look at some of the crap that was said. I'm not talking about criticism, I am talking about the ugly, unfair dogging out of kids and coach. I catch more grief for saying positive things about the team than some folks who come across as Indiana fans. But you are right, if you don't stick it out through the bad times, you have no right yelling Lets Go when we win

if a players bad I’ll say they are bad but I don’t attack any player or coach. If you could have seen me when we got down 9 and the things I was saying at home to my tv you would say I wasn’t a Kentucky fan.
Another thing people sometimes miss is that the actual riot that ended the game didn’t happen until the ninth inning. Much of the chaos simply occurred as the game was being played. The firecrackers going off for one thing. Also a good bit of nudity. It was 1974 and 1974 was the year of the streaking craze. Early in the game a woman entered the playing field, stood in the on deck circle and flashed her breasts before trying to kiss the home plate umpire. Later a guy who streaked to second base, sliding and everything which, man, that couldn’t have felt good. A father and son team mooned the bleachers. Things were lit.

I am a vocal critic of pretty much everything Barnhart does. I have criticized Pope when I thought he deserved it and defended him when I thought the overboard criticism was out of line. What I haven't done, that all the guys like you HAVE done is not quit on the team? the season or the coach!
Everyone is happy for the win but that first half is exactly why everyone is so down. Just horrid basketball. We are lucky we played a good second 10 minutes of the second half. It would be total meltdown had we lost to them.
