I doubt they needed any motivation. And there is no we for me as I was at home and if at the game I would have just ignored their intros. No booing or cheering.

I went to bed before game ended.. Had been in hospital since early last week and just got out yesterday and can't sleep in damn hospital.. Im not mad today,, more disappointed.. Reed thing bothered me more than the game though haha.. Knew when they bood the former players that was a fk up lol.. And after seeing all the **** posted today,, LOTS fans on here deserved the loss.. I hope it eats the pits of some yalls souls 
I agree 100%! Calipari deserved a standing ovation for saving UK that criminally egregious “buyout” alone!
With that said, it had zero to do with last night’s outcome! Last night’s outcome was a combination of former UK players wanting it more than the current UK players, and a former UK coach who wanted to be a lesser humanitarian, than the current UK coach!

I suspect, if they are a typical Cal team, that they won’t match that intensity again and will be mediocre the rest of the year, barely make the tourney, and bow out in the first game when they play a team equally as desperate.
We were Cal’s and his player’s Super Bowl.
Let’s see if they can maintain that focus.

I didn't like the booing. I don't like how he seemingly put the program second, and the players first. I don't like how he lost games that should have never been lost, at the worst possible times. I believe he did love it here, he won a NC, and we didn't have to buy him out. I'm glad he's gone, and we have Pope now. Had I been there, I would have golf clapped.
Booing cal was not what turned one of the worst shooting teams in the league into prime golden state
Playing terrible defense cost us the game. Pope's mistakes coaching the game contributed to the loss.
Every fan base in the country would have done the same for the similar situation.
I could care less about them booing Cal, I doubt that cost us the game. This was Cal's superbowl, he probably spent all his spare time for a week or more planning for this game.
