So, just to be clear - he was talking about practice, there?
Actually, I didn't learn this until just recently, but Iverson apparently had some heavy stuff going on that day, which boiled over into that press conference. His best friend had just been killed; in addition, he thought the press conference was going to be about Iverson not being traded from the 76ers. Someone asked what appeared to Iverson to be a question from way out in left field, about practice. That kind of triggered the "practice" rant.

Yeah I saw that Iverson documentary on 30 For 30 or on Netflix maybe, that explained that press conference and many other things. At the HS level his football skills were crazy good like Vic Hall. He could have played football at the college level, not sure he had the size for the pros, but his athletic skills were crazy good.
