The trolls are the ones blowing smoke up peoples @$$ as they desperately try to defend two straight 5 win seasons, or tell people two years in DH is to blame for Brown not being able to coach at the P 5 level successfully.

A couple years back they were telling everyone WVU needed to get rid of its coach because his 8 win and 10 win seasons werent good enough, and now lower rated recruiting classes are better, 5 win seasons are ok. People should wait a decade for this to get turned around.

these people are from alternate universe.

Your fake argument is getting old. Try using one of your other profiles.

Neal Brown has to take care of business in the bowl game.

Too bad they didn't get a chance to play OU to end the season.

Could have went into the off-season with more buzz.

2022 could be the year.
If Purdy returns for Iowa State I don't know if there will be enough space at the top of the Big 12 in 2021

Last I checked Neal Brown doesn't play on the field. Purdy good INT's he likes to throw. OU playing on more of a high at the end of the year than the beginning WVU would have lost Florida style if not by more.

You should go worry about Texas poor coaching or your ***** slapping in the HEY TVZ thread.

That clown has zero cred. Anybody that creates 25 profiles to post with is an absolute loser.

Last I checked this thread was about weakness to strength of WVU. Not your piss match with Greggy. You will be receiving notice of eviction soon.

Mehki Flowers will commit tomorrow. He's a heavy PSU favorite, for various reasons, tho he did watch WVU when he was a kid, so id say the chances are very slim.. We are in his top 10, but how many times does that work out for us when going against PSU, OSU, Michigan, etc... His versatility would be a great addition, and would help kick start the 2022 class for sure, along with Page, which I actually see as a OT or SDE at the D1 level. The best OT's sometimes start/play TE in HS, then add weight and maintain their quickness. NFL caliber OT's all have quick feet, so a few years from now, I actually project we will have 4 Homegrown starting OL... We got two TE's in the 2021 class, and 1 in 2020, so if we take another TE in the 2022 class that will tell me more about the staff's plans for Page..

Does anyone have any insiders info on who the staff will be heavily pursuing for QB in the 2022 class? I see who we have offered, but remain clueless on who we are heavily targeting... Any ideas?

Without Kendall or Jackson, WVU’s quarterback room next season will consist of Doege, 2020 recruit Garrett Greene, 2021 recruit Will ‘Goose’ Crowder and junior college walk-on Matt Cavallaro. Greene has played a few snaps this season, attempting five passes and five runs and Cavallaro has been with the team all season although he has not appeared in a game.

Look at 2022 I believe there is a QB ( Tayven Jackson Center Grove (Greenwood, IN)

Look at Cincinnati's team, look at them vs UGA, how are they competing at this level with 3 star recruits.... SPEED... Their team speed is elite... Proof Speed beats strength, when coached & schemed correctly. I really hope Brown puts serious efforts into making our niche speed...

QB's in the portal:

Ryan Hilinski medium 4 star class of 2019 SC commit

Lance LeGendre low 4 star class of 2019 Terps commit

Jace Ruder low 4 star class of 2018 UNC commit

Grant Tisdale low 4 star class of 2019 OleMiss commit

Chandler Morris high 3 star class of 2020 OU commit

These are the top 5 options with multiple years of eligibility.. While I have hope Garrett Greene will be "THE GUY", QB is BAR FAR a weakness of this team, at the moment, we def need to make the QB room better, and now is the time to use the portal as much as possible for key+critical positions. WVU will never compete at the level we seek with Doege, that is very clear. While the drops hurts his stats, he consistently misses on routine plays and lacks versatility. If one of these are interested, I would def add them to the team... Ryan Hilinski & Chandler Morris would be my first two choices... Hopefully we land one and whomever wins the job, raises the floor for this team next year!

Crawford could go pretty much anywhere he wants.

I do know the WVU staff was interested out of HS but like everyone was worried about grades.
He is a legit RT possibly LT. Could play on the inside we well.

Top 5/10 true freshman OL

Chandler Morris ends up at TCU. I thought WV should go after him but he could be a package deal with his Dad.

Wouldn't be surprised if Chad Morris ends up at TCU. I don't think Neal Brown is ready to move on from their OC.
So wouldn't have happened anyway.

Charleston Rambo's speed would be a welcomed addition to the WR room.... I really hope Neal Brown & staff are working over-time trying to get as much value from the portal as possible, it'll never be this rich again...

We could pursue Arik Gilbert(5 star TE), then deploy two tight end sets with Mike & Arik... It would def allow for more versatility, probably be a good thing for our running game too...

We've lost on a few players I thought we may land, and for the life of me, why would anyone commit or transfer to #VOLS right now is beyond me, even if its a QB, with two of their QB's transferring out... Tenn is a mess right now. If we all send a little love Darnell Wrights way, he may transfer too, who knows, worth a shot... It would go from HomeGrown Trifecta to 4 Horsemen....

I really hope we see some good news soon, cause many of these players do not last long once they enter the portal...

4 Star Wan-dale Robison (Nebraska APB 2019 commit) now in portal.... Really surprised we havent heard any new names/transfers yet, kinda nervous as some of the better guys are already off the market.... This is the offseason to take a few steps forward from a talent perspective, & if we can manage to get quality QB play next year and fill a few spots, we should be a 8 win team..
