I am looking at my hourly WGN weather app and they are saying 30 to 45% chance of Thunderstorms from 6 to 10 tonight.

It's pretty much rained almost every day this summer so why not!
Any remaining natural turf fields should be lush and s-l-o-w. Wonder how they might hold up to both a varsity and 2nd level game.
Although the least of their problems, the effect on NW Indiana HS football must be substantial. Regarding rain around the Southland of metro Chicago, I just hope to return home tonight to power at my home. Three outages this summer from July 3rd on of various lengths of time, 2 of them measured in days.

There is a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 10:00 pm for much of the Chicago area. Any thunder or lightning then expect major delays. Then you run into noise ordinances, etc. Hate to say it but good chance many games get rescheduled unfortunately. Lets hope its not as bad as expected
Sky looks beautiful now. Several years ago a bunch of programs jumped the gun and postponed games till Saturday. I ended up enjoying a PC @ LWE game with perfect weather that night.
