This is interesting. He is one of the lowest rated commits and I’m not sure what other P5 offers he has:

things change throughout the recruiting process...lots of teams are fine with letting certain players go.

Can't be bothered to look, but I think this was a really small DB that had me scratching my head when he committed.

Isn't this the guy who had a dad that was Travis Fisher's teammate in the NFL? Wasn't even ranked by the recruiting services until he committed to Nebraska

Webb was a Fisher connection as his dad and Fisher had a cup of coffee together in the NFL. I wonder if his ‘commitment’ came with conditions and there may have been a mutual plan for each party to move on if either determined a different path was needed. I think Sam’s comment is rather telling. Making room for Dickerson?

A case of buyers remorse upon closer inspection the program they were selling him wasn’t the same one he actually sees in real life.

Message board handles usually have a backstory. I find some of these stories interesting. If I were to guess, I’ll bet the name, “Dick Chick”, probably comes up when you look at his pornhub search history.

Heard Webb decommitted. Let the floodgates open...
Posts like this are so dumb. We constantly have posts about floodgates of decommits or transfers and the coaches losing the locker room and it never happens. I’m glad these teenagers are more mature than our fans:

This kid clearly overestimates his value to Nebraska football and our interest in him ever coming here.

They need bodies and they need talent at DB. A bunch of their top guys from the recent class were at DB and they left without completing a season. In some cases without starting it.

Here's hoping they can go on a real run and get some dudes in for that defensive backfield. We're going to need ALL the seniors to come back or it starts to look super thin at DB again like it was when this staff arrived.
