get him off the court the last few games he just turns the ball over and forces everything. Better team when he is on the bench just like at the end of Purdue game.

Webster hasn't played very well lately, but this season would have been a complete disaster without him. After those early conference wins, teams are locked in on keeping Tai from getting to the basket - and Nebraska doesn't have enough offensive weapons to make them pay the price for that.

Really needed somebody else to step up and drain some 3s to have a chance. Watson being hurt was huge.

I understand but there are open guys when he just lowers his head and drives and throws something up. Early on that stuff was going in for him now it isn't other guys like Jack Jordy and Mike are playing much better he needs to understand that as well and not think he is the only one. Just my two cents.

3/18 from 3 I think for our guys. Our best offense all season long has been Tai or Glynn taking it to the rack. I would like to see him kick it out more but dang I've just seen too many times where I thought he had nothing against 2 guys and somehow he finished and often got a foul shot to go with it.

If you want a clear picture of how much this team struggles shooting the ball, take a look at these numbers:

NU season shooting stats

I give Jacobson credit for hustling his way to a lot of putbacks, but on anything that's not a putback or a layup, he shoots about 30%. Tschimanga is looking better lately, but it's a real challenge to get him the ball where he can handle it cleanly and not turn it over. I too would like to see better ball movement on offense, but for that to work you have to have guys who can get the ball through the hoop.

I will say one more thing with Jordy growing up and if we can get Morrow and Watson healthy no one and I mean no one will want to play us in the big 10 tourney.
I know this a Nebraska board but I seriously think Miles must be paying some of you guys before you post. No bb team on the planet fears Nebraska, healthy or otherwise.

I do agree that Webster does force things sometimes but you have to live and die by your best players. Shavon Shields was the same way at times. Webster has shown significant improvement over his career at Nebraska. His positive plays greatly outweigh the negative. Sometimes these guys try to do too much which results in them driving into traffic and either turning it over or throwing up a wild shot. It is in the mindset of the best player on the team to try and go get a basket when things aren't going well so that is what ends up happening sometimes.
