Biggest game in the state. Not even close. I said it to a Crest co-worker after week 1 that I would not be surprised if Crest won this game.

We got a bye this week so my boy wants to come.
After seeing the way Weddington manhandled Monroe tonight, Crest will have their hands full and then some. This will be an absolute heck of a ball game to see. I just think Weddington may pull away a little at the end. But Crest very well may come away with a huge W! Especially at home. I'm fact I'll be pulling for the Chargers to get the win!
Chargers definitely have a uphill battle..MONROE played West Charlotte and Weddington in back to back weeks that’s brutal and as physical as you can get

This is definitely an interesting matchup. This game will be decided in the trenches. Crest has the style of offensive play this season to give them a chance with the quick passing and wr screen game. Crest OL/DL has to hold their own to give the Chargers a shot. The front seven (defensive front seven for the slow posters) of Weddington has elite talent so Lloyd will need to keep the guessing with his play calling. I hope the weather is nice for this one!

Hope this is a knock down, drag out, street brawl where both teams come out safe but sore, battered and bruised. My Catholic Cougars open conference play with Weddington the next week, although we will have our hands full with Kings Mountain this week. Props to Weddington. No cupcakes on their early season schedule. This will be Crest's first true test and they may not see another one, other than South Point, until the playoffs.
Catholic is always tough. Much respect for Red Pain. Kings Mountain has the size and the speed to be formidable. The truth they’re growing up and win or lose Catholic will help that process.
Weddington’s size on that front 7 is gonna be a task. I just hope we can block long enough to hit some quick ones those burners we got. There’s a few of them too. Weddington’s DB’s look a tad suspect to me.

Hamrick will have 150 yards rushing and 75 of them will be running to the sideline to get the play. We’ve always went for the throat. It needs to stay that way.
