NOTE: I know Union lost but VHSL has Science Hill as 6A and says they have 3 wins. You get 14 for losing to 6A and 3 points for the 3 wins they have. Which is 17 while Ridgeview only gets 18 for beating a winless team last week. With Unions opponents having one more win than Ridgeview that gives them two more Ryder points which makes up the one difference in just that game then puts them up by one point.
I gave Richlands win over Tazewell as they are up by a bit even though the game has to be finished. Nelson has to finish game with Prince Edward. A win keeps them at 18 average as none of its opponents has any wins. A loss drops them to seventh. Shout out to Nelson though for chance here to start 3-0 and I know it's been bad competition but with were Nelson has been for last decade this is big.

The value of playing high competition! Union battled for most of the game, against a speedy, well coached group of young men. It will only help them down the road with Graham/Ridgeview/Gate City/Abingdon. This schedule is tough!
