Some big time DSR swing games this weekend!!

Neuqua Valley @ Waubonsie Valley
Naperville North @ Wheaton North
Nazareth Academy @ Notre Dame (Niles)
Benet Academy @ Marian Central Catholic
Hampshire @ Cary-Grove
Lake Forest @ Stevenson
Hononegah @ Boylan Catholic
Homewood-Flossmoor @ Lincoln-Way East
Althoff Catholic @ Mater Dei

Although Lockport @ Lincoln-Way Central may not have the pedigree of the other games in the previous post, it is one to watch for the following reason: The respective head coaches, Jeremy Cordell (formerly Glenbard South) and Dan Starkey (last of New Trier) both stand at 2-0 with this chance for a "statement game" to charge into the contending ranks of the SWSC along with LWE, H-F, LWW and the 'Brook.

Would be huge for Lockport's playoff chances. The Porters are making some strides under Starkey, IMO.

I realize that this season for you has to be miserable, but to find all these games of interest for the DSR I ask the following questions.

Notre Dame (Peoria) @ Normal Community (what am I missing?)
Providence Catholic @ St.Rita (why, to see who is really worse)
Loyola Academy @ Mt.Carmel (yes)
Montini Catholic @ Fenwick (DSR...really?)
Bishop McNamara @ St.Laurence (zero baring)
Neuqua Valley @ Waubonsie Valley (maybe, only time will tell)
Naperville North @ Wheaton North (not if you watched norths first 2 games. You figure out which I'm referring to...that's more interesting)

Nazareth Academy @ Notre Dame (Niles) (Love Naz but can't hang a DSR on a win here ND lost to Benet)

Benet Academy @ Marian Central Catholic (nothing to see here)
Hampshire @ Cary-Grove (you're kidding right)

J-war, can you explain the "Alter Sacrifice" comment, however? I didn't get that but believe there is something really funny there that I am not getting or simply not Catholic enough to understand.

@jwarigaku must not be very religious either, as it is altar, not alter. Unless Althoff is doing some tailoring for the good folks at Mater Dei?
