In honor of the Springsteen movie being released today, which is about his recording of songs that became the album Nebraska, some songs from the recording which made it onto Nebraska, as well as songs written while he rehearsed the recordings with the E Street Band.

I’m going to see the movie tonight. Book was really good.
Also coming out today is his version of Nebraska recorded with a band (the long waited for electric Nebraska). This version of Born in the USA is probably the version he should have released. It’s no exactly the stadium anthem that came out but it removes all doubt about what the song is about.
