On March 4, 1989, Phoebe Cates got married, crushing the dreams of many a young man. This weekend's jukebox is in celebration of her, or as always, whatever you're in the mood for listening to.

Last weekend nobody created a jukebox. Some added on to the previous weekend's jukebox, but that was pretty sad. MtNittany started the jukebox tradition many, many years ago on this board, and with only a few exceptions (like last week), it's been a constant.

And for those that don't like this week's focus, it's probably better than my initial choice. March 4 was for the first 100+ years of the US the day when the President was inaugurated. And me being a history nut, I was tempted to focus on that. ;)

Have at it.

As a 1985 high school graduate, Fast Times at Ridgemont High is one of my all time favorite movies. Have watched it at least 30 times and will probably watch it 30 more. Amazing how accurate much of it is when I think about my high school years, many of which I had similar experiences doing myself 🚬🎸🥁📞😎.

Yeah, I gotta agree on the comment about posting the thread on the Weekend Jukebox a 1:08 AM and chastizing us for not posting a thread on the Weekend Jukebox already.....

That said....we need more Oingo Boingo on this board.....

here's the thing, 2 weeks ago there were 2 Weekend juke box threads, so last week the one that was stil burning, was used, simple enough.
