When something is in the floor and you need to pick it up, do you always use your hands? Or like me do you have long enough toes that you can just pick up stuff with your feet?

One time my aunt was over and my brother picked up something off the floor with his toes, this was 40 plus years ago, and my aunt got up and left the house saying that we were monkeys. She said her kids couldn't do that and it freaked her out to see us do it. (I left out the part that after he picked up something with his feet and she got freaked out that I then did it.) I can't help she married a short man that produced progeny with little bitty stubby toes. We were all over 6 ft.

Feet are disgusting
Yeah but can you use your toes to lift things? I see no reason everyone can't do that. I think some people just think they're too good to do it.

Usually if I use my toes it's going in the trash.

My toes have low bend flex. Constantly amazed at how far DW can flex hers & the frequency with which she randomly does it. But then I can't curl my tongue either.

Only useful thing I ever did with my toes was to change TV channels when we had dial channels & I was laying on the floor in front of it.

One of the funniest lunch conversations I’ve ever heard covered this same topic. One guy bragging about all the things he could do with his feet and another guy completely repulsed by it, calling him an anthropological throwback because his ancestors hung in trees and used their feet to pick fruit.
