Duke offered Jackson in late June of this year, making him a priority on the summer circuit. He took his official visit to campus the last weekend in August. Assistant coach Jon Scheyer was his main recruiter.

I think that's great news to be honest. We hear a lot about Capel, but it's great to know that Scheyer is having a similar impact.

no other way to put it, this is such a huge pick up for what could potentially be the best class Coach K has ever put together. It's just so great to be a Dukie right now. I'm still basking in the glory of our last Championship and may not have to wait long to be soaking up another!

Yes a bit too early but not too early to think about him as Capels' top assistant. : )

The two of them and Nate James are doing some very good things in terms of bringing in top talent. I love or coaching staff right now.
