DAMN TIGHT I WAS PRO BObby P the man wins football games. I dont give a ratsass who he is screwing! Hell he can screw all the cheerleaders as far as I am concerned. If this thread pisses you off. Well better to be pissed off then pissed on. I dont give a damn. All you got to do is look at the standings and the W's!!! Period!

Shoulda coulda Yes, should have hire Petrino. But some people prefer losing over hiring an offensive genius, a winner, although that someone has made some questionable decisions.

Well I thought I was going to get hammered when I popped back in this thread. Thank God people some atleast here agree! Hell I honestly would throw everything I could at Herman, Then Tressel, Then Butch Jones. Right now those are the top 3 I can think of.

Thank you very much thank you alot! I get hammered on this one in past but my gut and head said I was right. Plus I dont care if this hurts peoples feeli gs but Matt Jones propaganda screwed us on that as well. He had a hand in the Bobby p not getting hired here. I might call in soon and give him piece of my mind. I pretty much have quit listening to him since then. Use to listen all the time last 4 years aaahh not so much! He help cost us a great gootball coach!

is that really a big deal?? I look at Ohio states roster and it's maybe half full of Ohio kids and they are the cream of the in state crop

no surprise he took stoops instead of Petrino, he took BCG instead of Cal

Tell you truth I am not sure we have players like Conrad but fail to be used. He is a player that could play for just about anyone.

I agree. Yeah BP lied and had an affair, but hell so did one of our presidents and probably more than half the people who have ever lived. What does that have to do with football?!

UK was at a program changing crossroad that rarely has and will come around for UK football and Mitch took the wrong road. Just my opinion.

The thing is, Bobby wasn't even a consideration, so the discussion isn't even worth it IMO. Should he have been a serious consideration, absolutely. Was he, absolutely not.

The four guys besides Stoops that were seriously considered were Butch Jones (waited for a better gig, which he got), Mike Macintyre (ended up at Colorado), Gary Anderson (ended up at Wisconson) and Sonny Dykes (ended up at Cal).

A lot of people thought Sonny Dykes should have been the man, and a lot of people were right. He's got Cal moving in the right direction.

Yes, he should've been. He wanted to be here and a lot of fans wanted him to be here as well. Obviously UL current success just makes all this worse.
