The United States was ranked the best-prepared country in the world to handle a pandemic in late 2019 by the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) and the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security (JHCHS) -- an assessment seemingly at odds with claims by Democrats that the Trump administration left the country vulnerable to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

So you're saying that we were well prepared? how about execution of preparedness plans? is everything going well?

What a fuc#tard.
I think he made a move to keep doctors from prescribing it for covid19 outside a hospital to protect the supply for people already needing it. In a hospital a dr can still prescribe it if I understand it correctly.

Then I take back my comment. If he's doing this to protect supply, then I'd be for that. I'll admit that I didn't bother reading the tweet this time. Just got done watching a movie and jumped to a conclusion. :frown:

I'll leave that up to you......The experts said we were the best prepared of any country in the world to handle a pandemic.......they said that....not me.
I will concede that areas of the country were asleep at the wheel.......New York City and Seattle are prime examples.

Local Governments have been given tons of money to prepare. All people have to do is go back and look at all the money passed out after 911. Audit time !

Google CBRN. Our country has preventive plans for threats you don't even know exist. We can't all live in a bubble and we can't always control what others do. Most importantly we have to adjust in real time.
Oh you mean like making choices to shut down travel, isolate citizens that traveled abroad, and stress the seriousness of potential spread to the public so those possibly exposed will contact the CDC and minimize their personal contact with others?

And now that we have, it's time to get started back up in about 2 weeks at the most.

We have and are doing that. Until you start bitching about the CCP and it''s enablers. Enablers being U.S. and other global shitheads. You are simply parroting CCP propaganda.

There is plenty of blame to go around.
Cuomo should have shut the airports down in NYC much earlier......Same with Seattle, San Fran and Los Angeles given they are the prime portals for Asian entry.
Cuomo should have heeded the recommendation of the health expert in 2015 and purchased the 16,000 ventilators....he made that choice.

Containment and trace contact with having enough test kits will be the way forward. TTP's for this type of contagion are being followed. The idiots complaining in the middle of this in real time are now doing the bidding of our enemies. For once in there pathetic lives they need to support their leaders. I don't even think you are a Trump supporter and you are. Fvcking amazing **** can be accomplished when your not a traitor.

Obviously we weren't very well prepared and our execution of plans has left much to be desired. There will be much to criticize in that report after this is over, many lessons to be learned.

You can think the CCP for trying to cover it up. Until you get to that point you are simply repeating our enemies propaganda. Benedict Arnold didn't do the damage some of you seem to be prepared to do.

Agree....in hindsight. I don't know of any event paralleling this in world history that we could say we were well prepared.

There is none. The Govenor's and local governments need to do their job. If they can't then Trump will have to send someone to do it for them.

Excellent. If you want me to post similar examples from the POTUS just say so, lots to choose from.

If Trump would have declared Martial Law on Jan 31st you would have been screaming like a little *****. Now your practically begging him to do it. Your local leaders need to do their job it's that friggin simple. Some of you must have been breast feed until age 16.
