Just so you know, Georgia has won 9 straight times the week after their "emotional" game against Florida.

Thanks...

Five of those nine games were against the likes of Troy, New Mexico State, Idaho State, Appy State & Tennessee Tech. All of the other years except one Kentucky was in that spot and was a double digit dog, the other was Ole Miss and they were 13 point dogs. This year the line is only 2 1/2.

I have been betting on UK football for years, and have taken a huge loss. They seem to cover when they shouldn't, and not when they should. I am a gambler and bet on other stuff, and know better than to bet on my favorite team, but I do it any way. I've bet the money line since the Vandy game and have won with odds several games in a row. Right now, we are getting 1.35 to 1, and I'm taking that line. I don't want points. Let's win this game.

BTW, I love the threads talking about betting. It shows how clueless most people are about how betting on games really works.

Guesss I can't screen shot the bet, but I'm in at $350 on GA at -2.5. UK depends on the running game and GA wins this in the trenches. I'm playing with $ made last weekend so if KY wins I don't see it as really a loss. Only way I think we keep this close is by getting a few trick plays or deep balls.

The "sharps" are on KY. Line has gone from -3 to -2, with 68% of the total bets on UGA.
If this is true I like our chances Saturday. I'm not one to believe in conspiracy, but Vegas don't like to lose money. And only a two point dawg means for Vegas to come out ahead we lose by one, or win. Like when heavy money is not on our side especially with a very small spread.

Pretty sure CATS have beaten the spread like 7 games in a row...hopefully you lose large!!

actually 5 but that's pretty good. Just missed against NMS line -21.5 we won by 20

But the takeaway to your point is that Vegas has been behind the trend line, that's a sign of a team that is improving rapidly week-to-week.

See, I feel great now instead upset over what is KY football. I will admit it ruined a great game for me, but I know KY football all too well. Tonight's game was one of many program changing games, that KY has lost every time in my life.

The showing was great though. A win at TN will really help our bowl game. I think we have a heck of a chance to knock off UoL. I expect the spread on UoL to really favor a UK bet, but we'll see.

If you feel great after a UK loss, you are no UK fan.

Props to the op. He did the smart thing betting against UK. We win and he's happy. We lose and he made money. It's a win win for him.

He was also nice enough not to rub it in the faces of everyone who was a dick to him for his OP.

You're not a UK fan. You admitted it "ruined a great game" for you, which means you were rooting for Georgia. The money was more important to you. That's fine, but if $350 is enough to make turn on something you supposedly care about, then I feel sorry for you.

Thank You so much. I love U.K and everyone that knows me can attest to that. I pay extra on my TV bill out here in Oregon now such that I can watch every game, or at least I used to before SEC network. Actually, I'd probably cut the chord if not for U.K and save $50-$100 a month.

I will be one of the Big Blue faithful when they roll in to Vegas this year. It killed me when we pulled out of the Nike Classic tourney this year.

However, I don't wear the Blue Shades. I tell it as I see it. This team has made tons of progress, but we are not an Elite SEC team as made out to be this week by fans and the media, which influenced this line just enough.

I remember your OP and agreed with you 100%. As much as some of the small minded posters want to slam people that are honestly true blue UK fans but have the sense to bet against them on occasion I have no issue with it at all. You made a smart bet and made money. I'm sure there were times when you thought you were going to lose. But in the end you win out. Nothing to be ashamed of IMO. I wish we would have won but the smart money was on UGA. Congrats on your win but I hope we win every game. History tells us otherwise.

OP I was wrong. You beat the odds and bet in a game with your favorite team.... Bad idea but you beat the odds. Well done and congrats man, you deserve the sweet payout

The sweet, sweet payout of rooting against your supposed team. Well done and what a magnificent fan. The team is lucky to have you on their side.

If you are a UK Fan why would you need to come here and brag about betting against them. Do it that's fine I understand, respond to a thread that's fine too. However post a thread bragging about betting against. Not a fan in my book!

KY is getting a bit over rated here. History shows that KY trips every time fans get excited, and I'm hedging here. GA by at least 8 imo.

Fantastic sure thing bet by you, how much did you win by, 1/2 a point.

Not too many sure things like that around.
