we are blessed to have Tony..I picked up the Va Tech game on the radio today.the play announcer who replaced Bill Roth..I've heard better on high school games...
Thanks for the info sir! I always have the radio feed going on the WV Gameday app for every WVU game and I was surprised not to hear TC. I was a little concerned because I know he would not have missed this game unless something very important or something very bad. Glad to hear it was the first reason. One a side note I thought the radio broadcast today was still very good. Hard to replace a legend like Tony Caridi but the guys did a great job.
No offence to whomever called the game today, but it was not very good. And yest we are lucky to have TC, he is one of the best Basketball PxP in the business.
Tony, or his son, needs to get his priorities in the correct order.
If his son insists on getting married in either football or basketball season then he shouldn't count on dear old dad attending.

I really like Tony. I remember plenty of nights cruising the highway coming back from work trips listening to him call games and it always made the drive a pleasure.
