In case anyone isn't internet-savvy, this is a spammer. Don't ever go to sites listed .ru - the damn Ruskies will screw you over every time.

Well this sucks. Luckily we have pretty good depth at his spot though.

Wow, hate it for him, but as stated one of our deepest positions. And he has already redshirted I believe, hope he can get a medical, if he needs it to advance his career.

Yup, in years past an injury like this would have been a back breaker, though it obviously sucks but Stoops has recruited DBs so well that it won't hurt near as bad as it would have most years.

Wow, sad for the young man. I was just hoping to get some news from the scrimmage, but certainly nothing like this, sometimes no news is good news. Hope he heals well and maybe gets an injury year, IF he needs it to further his career------on or off the field.

Hurts to lose experienced players. Still 3 weeks away from the start of the season and have already lost 3 potential starters from a D that needs all the help it can get.

Stoops also said that RB Mikel Horton sustained a "pretty good" ankle injury today.

There is no such thing a "pretty good" ankle sprain. I sprained my ankle (also a small bone out of place) as a soph in high school and resprained it every year playing football for 10 years (flag football most years) but played flag until I was 41 without any more sprains.

Stop the scrimmage!

No, I guess it is one of the risks you have to take, hopefully he comes back soon and if not the Snell news is good. He also has a redshirt available if needed, I hope it isn't needed.
Actually West got injured Friday.

It seems we lose 2-3 top players every year. He may not be the #1 back there but he was good, had some experience and expected to play a lot.

I'm sure its the same for every team but it sure seems like it hits us more than anyone else.

The defense is already missing 3 starters (Hatcher, Meant, West) before the first scrimmage is over. Only at UK [poop]

First off prayers for a speedy recover to West. With that being said highly touted Marcus Walker may get his opportunity to prove why the powerhouses wanted him. Any news on him as of late?

Stoops on scrimmage

Well, since you started it.

I couldn't find anything about "Stoops on scrimmage" in your political post. You know, if everyone in the government clique, including the President, was out to get someone for FALSE statements it seems like it would be a simple matter. Lots of unbelievably radical stories about the debauchery of the Clinton's out there, in our sue crazy society why aren't they suing all these people-------unless the stories are true. Don't they know a good lawyer, hell, I thought they both had law degrees------but then those licenses to steal were just to get into the real license to steal, politics, where the Lawyer/politicians have a lock on "representing" the people-------what a laugh.

He may not go to jail, not because they aren't desperately trying to get him there, but he may get his place on their "death list", where 61 of those listed have already died from "accidents", including a friend of mines Air Force General that died in an ultra safe Piper Cub crash..

And unbelievable legacy they have, and an unbelievably lousy choice the American public has for our next President--------but i have no doubt I want try to end the direction the country is headed under our present leadership. And when they continue to let millions of illegal immigrants and terrorists into the country to gain votes this may be our last chance. Our US Senator Harry Reid one of the prime beneficiaries of that outrage..

The offense had very good day and wr Kayuane Ross snared two td-passes.

Sounds promising, pretty quiet on that front lately. I am really excited about our new WRs------and DBs, and OLs, and RBs, and------well, you get the idea, the DL the only big thing lacking and while there is a LOT of competition there I think we have some very promising YOUNG players there, some of our losses there have really hurt, Hatcher and Tubbman in particular------and we lost them for very different reasons, one maybe an addition by subtraction, IMO.

But then, as we are all aware, UK couldn't possibly take a chance on getting sued when all you have to do is throw one player under the bus, right Fuzzy...

This sucks for West. McWilson and McClain need to end their careers strong. Randolph needs to handle the Nickel. Any word on the development of Marcus Walker?

uh, West injured in practice on Friday. Probably not during tackling either.

I'd rather sustain some injuries practicing tackling instead of playing powder puff football in the offseason.

Likely 2nd string.....maybe rotational starter. We are starting to have a bit of a log jam in the secondary.....so there is a small bit of wiggle room to lose a guy or two. Meant's loss is more impactful at this time.

However, I hate this for West. Likely sounds like a torn patellar tendon. Takes a long time to recover from.

A season ending injury in pre-season is probably the toughest one to take mentally. Here's to a complete recovery.
